Anghus Houvouras is an award-winning Wilmington, North Carolina based writer for the screen, the stage and the printed page including three produced features from his scripts. He is best known for writing the feature film 'Dead Heist' (2007) which has been released in over 20 countries. On stage he has had a number of plays performed in New York including 'Penmanship' which won Best Comedy at the 2017 Equity Library Theater Festival as well has having his work featured in Emerging Artist Theatre's New Works Series and the Renegade Theatre Festival.
In 2018 his drama 'A Civilized World' was featured as part of the Downtown Urban Arts Festival in New York City.
