I went on with my classes and trying to figure out how to talk to Alexis. However, I couldn’t help, but feel like I was being watched. And what do ya know, it was Miss Conceded. Why can’t she just leave me alone? I did my best to ignore her, but it was impossible. I felt her eyes piercing through my soul. Seriously, I swear that girl is part witch, and the appearance of a certain moron didn’t make it any better.
“Hey, beautiful.”
See what I mean? “What do you want Courdrory?”
“Come on, let’s hang.”
“No.”
“It won’t take long. I promise.”
“I’m sure it will. But the answer is still ‘no’. So scram.” I swear that boy is more annoying than a fly. I walked away hoping for him to leave me alone. But what I didn’t realize was that I was still being watched.
I decided to talk to Alexis at the end of the day. After all, she did say her brother is an athletic coach here. So it was natural for her to wait for him. I was on my way to see her when the Wicked Sisters blocked my path. They looked upset, especially Miss Thing.
“I thought I told you to stay away from Courdrory.”
“You did, only thing is I listened. He didn’t.”
“Don’t play dumb you want Courdrory all to yourself! Admit it!”
“For last time, I don’t want anything to do with Courdrory! You can have him for all I care.”
“You bitch!” Gloria slapped me, then grabbed my hair. She threw me to the ground and the others started kicking me. I put my arms to my face for protection.
“Leave her alone!” That voice it couldn’t be. Alexis? I felt someone pull on my arm. I looked and saw Alexis pulling my arm to help me stand. Gloria gave her a sinister stare.
“Who are you?” “Her friend and I can see that 3 Witches need to be taught a lesson.” She chuckled.
“What can you do?” Alexis looked at them and took out a spray bottle.
“This.” She started spraying them with water. Gloria and her followers were acting like scaredy cats over some water. But the funny part was their make-up. Their mascara was running.
“Ugh! My make-up! Why you—“ Alexis just kept spraying until the girls ran away.
“You okay?” I turned to answer her.
“Yeah, I’m fine.”
“You don’t look too injured, just some dirt. What are you doing here anyway? Shouldn’t you be home by now?” This is the first time Alexis and I have talked since the argument we had.
“I wanted to talk to you.” “About?” She crossed her arms and waited to hear what I had to say. I took a breath and just came out with it.
“Do you wanna come over for a slumber party this Friday?”
