“Woah woah woah.”
__Back in the interrogation room__
Agent Wash interrupts, “what happened IN the building? Mayhem was also there? Also, why save her? You were enemies at the time?”
Robin speaks first, “well, yes and no.”
“As you are probably aware, Mayhem and the One O’s were one family before the rebirth. The eventual leaders of the two were biological brothers. One became the first Tetran while the other could use magic. Even though the two groups gained a bitter rivalry, the brothers stayed fairly close. They swore that we would have days of peace, holidays mainly. A tradition that is held to this day.”
Looking at each other fondly, Robin continues. “We have known each other since we were teenagers. We always had an off and on again thing until we became full members when we hit twenty.”
“Ah, I see. That explains the save but not important things.”
Mal straightens his back, “Right, going back to before that. First off, I was higher up in Mayhem so I was in the room when it happened.”
After entering the warehouse, Mal and the eight other leaders of Mayhem follow tight hallways until they come to a single door. Inside, they see an average meeting room. A long glass and metal table, eight desk chairs, and a television on the wall at the end.
“Not really the Technoids style. I was under the impression that they preferred god awful metal sculptures and an overwhelming amount of tech.” says one of the leaders.
At that moment, a voice chimes in on the monitor. “Please gentlemen, have a seat and we can begin.” a moment passes, “We have brought you here under the promise of finally eliminating your enemy, the One O’s. That wasn’t a lie but it made us think, why should you get to rule this city then?”
A sickening laugh echoes out of the tv, “so how about we clean house shall we. this city belongs to us now!” the walls begin to crack and give way. Falling onto the ground like a movie set. Now in a fully open warehouse. The walls are lined with various metal beasts and famous characters from fiction.
Positioned on all the places you could sit are men of metal. Each customized to fit a different personality. One stands out from the rest. Bigger, meaner, almost alive.
Next to Mayhem, in an identical deflated room, stands the leaders of the One O’s. The large metal man looks up at the two groups and simple commands, “kill ‘em.”
In a flash, the metal men and the statues begin to fire on them. The One O’s are cut down pretty fast but Mayhem are faster. A few are able to take down some machines before succumbing to their wounds but Mal is good.
He leaps forward and swings at the apparent leader. His hand connects and sends a painful vibration through his arm. Whatever he is made of is much stronger than anything Mal has seen before.
Two of the surviving members of the One O’s, who hid behind the table, begin performing a summoning spell. The ground begins shaking as the massive infernal lord rises from the ground.
The dying and dead bodies around them sink into pools of dark energy. “A sacrifice worthy of me, the deal is accepted. I am the Infernal Lord of Madness and Blood, Ettragalis. You shall bow before me!” he lays his hand onto the ground and it rips apart as his infernal minions crawl out to fight for his glory.
Seeing the arrival of the Lord, the massive metal man grabs Mal by his chest and hurls him at and through the warehouse wall.

“And that catches us up to where Robin started off I believe.” Mal says as he leans back in his chair.
“Okay so, the Technoids are gonna have to be elevated in rank if they can command full machines like that but an Infernal Lord. What were those idiots thinking? That explains the state of the docks.”
“We’ve been a bit busy with everything since then, what happened to the docks?” Robin asks.
“The entire thing as been converted into Infernal territory,”
“We’ll take care of it.” Mal says with confident cockiness as he nudges Robin.
“We would welcome any assistance but let’s continue with what happened with the Technoids. We know you followed this with two separate attacks on the days following. We might as well cover that as well.” Agent Wash motions them to continue.
