In Bluberry, Bluebell was trying to keep up with his older siblings who were trying to do some berry scavenging while their mother Braveleaf was asleep. Sometimes he wished he was in Moon Family as they paid more attention to him than his own siblings do.
“Guys, wait up!” Bluebell pleaded.
“You should’ve stayed home,” Weasel muttered. “You’re too slow.”
Says you, Bluebell thought bitterly. He stopped when a patch of berries grown up from the ground. Tempted, he grabbed the berries and vines sprung up and wrapped around his body. “Help! Help!”
His siblings didn’t stop as he struggled to free himself. Eventually, a young boy came and cut the vines off with a knife. He held Bluebell up and started to head home with the new kitten.
One of Bluebell’s sisters, Fawn looked to see Bluebell was being carried away. Leaving the others, she spotted Mr. Heart floating above Giovanni and her baby brother. As she quickened her pace, a cage was dropped on the two.
“Well, this sucks,” Giovanni sighed as he sat down and started playing with the rocks. Fawn hid behind some ferns as she spotted Kong and a blue pig Unique Creature hop out from the trees and beat the cage.
Do none of them see Mr. Heart? Wondered Fawn. She couldn’t bring herself to leave her post. I’ll just wait until they notice him…
Fawn instantly ducked her head when the Unique Creature was knocked away by Mr. Heart’s gauntlet. “Let the children go!” Kong screeched as he sent one fist to Mr. Heart’s mask.
He managed to land a clean hit and it knocked Mr. Heart’s mask off a bit. From what Fawn could make out, Mr. Heart was slightly tanned and had some frizzy purple hair. Who are you? Fawn wondered.
Fixing his mask, Mr. Heart stared at Kong. “Looks like someone wants to know my identity,” he sneered. Taking one boot, he slammed it into Kong’s stomach and the gorilla was knocked backwards.
“Ugh, my stomaaach!” Kong cried as he curled into a ball.
Taking a few paw steps back, Fawn had an idea. Moon Family might be able to help, she thought to herself. She took some steps back and bolted off into the distance. Shining Skies, let someone be there to help!
