I’m a Pacific Northwesterner who grew up reading books by C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and George MacDonald. Collector of “Beauty and the Beast” themed stories (books and movies), and dearly love both Disney adaptations. “Rise of the Guardians” shaped my world and art in special ways. “How to Train Your Dragon” spoke to my inner child in a way my grownup self appreciated. Jane Austin, L.M. Montgomery, and Louisa May Alcott helped give me a taste for classy, wholesome romance. I’m a Studio Ghibli and Cartoon Saloon fan. I am now doing my best to create worlds of my own in the heritage of the kinds of stories I have always loved best and inspired by the beauty in the world around me.
