Hello!
My name is Vika, I am a digital artist from Ukraine and the creator of comics Loki the father. Once upon a time, when I was a little child, I dreamed of a happy full family. In the city where i was born, people like me - who dream but live in completely different conditions are not uncommon. My father left the family when i was a baby, and i spend most of my childhood with my grandparents while my mother worked or studied. And so it was with many children who later studied with me in the same school. I always knew I wasn't the only one, but it didn't heal the emotional trauma. As an adult, I learned about an interesting god in norse mythology - Loki. My attention was drawn to how unusual his children were, and for Loki himself the appearance of such babies was a surprise. Thinking about this inspired me to create a comics about the difficult fate of a parent who was just yesterday a careless rogue-god. Through my work, I'd like to convey to the reader how important it is for a child to be in a loving family, and how important it is for parents to understand all the responsibility for their decision to start a new life.
