The story takes in a world ruled by dragons, people who look like humans but are not one have the ability to transform into a dragon at will. Because of this, they are on top of the food chain and humans have been forced under their rule forever to be treated as only recourses. The story follows John and Arthur. John is a charismatic thief and engineer who seeks a way to fight back against the dragons and liberate the human race. While Arthur, who’s part of the kingdom’s ruling dragon family, is mistreated by his own family and also seeks a way to rise up against their rule. Though, he isn't strong enough on his own despite being a dragon. Together, John and Arthur, despite their differences, try to find a way to stop the dragon's tyranny.
