In the year of 2166, a major nanorobotic accident resulting from an attack on a laboratory of the paramilitary group, Graal, destroyed half the planet transforming all biological matter in the explosion radius into mutants of cataclysmic powers called Machinas. To prevent that the world was corrupted, after 10 year war against the aberrations caused by the incident, a large wall was built separating the southern hemisphere from the northen hemisphere of the entire earth, but in the year 2180, 4 years after the wall was built, GRAAL fears that the colossal structure will not support what a certain scientist predicted would happen if they did not end the nucleus of the whole problem. Taking radical methods, the organization recruits children from what is left of the world to create the ultimate weapon, those who will defeat the unknown aberrations of the corrupted lands and even the indefinite origin of it all chaos, the Deus Machina.
