Happy Pride!
I wrote this with the intention of writing about a trans character. More specifically, it’s about how a fictional character’s gender identity can be relevant to their character, without it necessarily being tied to discrimination, shame, and socio-political oppression.
You don’t always need a reason to make a character queer, but I find that I like to sometimes, especially if it gives their character more depth!
