After a catastrophic war that left the globe decimated, the surviving world as we know it has been peaceful and nearly crime-free for the last twenty years... or so we thought.
Following the mass release of a plethora of iron-fist enforced laws, human trafficking has been eradicated completely, but at a cost. In its place, a vile industry has reared its ugly head with vigor. Welcome AniCorp., a shadowy conglomerate whose sole purpose is to create and manufacture human-animal hybrids trained from birth to be good, subservient boys and girls.
Citizens still rally and protest against these corporations to this day, but the government and law enforcement seems to have turned a blind eye to their business. After all, wouldn't you rather it be artificial creatures being traded on the Black Market instead of you or your children?
