Description
Sanctum takes place in Dirt, a post-apocalyptic wasteland full of dangerous old world technology, horrifically mutated monsters and violently unstable magic. The world is heavily inspired by Norse mythology and reinterprets a few elements from it.
The story follows Eddie, a dim-witted chimpanzee mutant who grew up in a prison, his incarceration is cut short as he's forced to escape by a ruthless bounty hunter after a substantial bounty placed on his head.
After narrowly avoiding death, in part thanks to the help of his regenerative parasite Isaac, Eddies tiny mind was flooded with questions; Who placed the bounty? Why do they want him dead so bad? Could he fake his identity and try to turn in his own bounty for the reward money? He figures the best place to look for answers is the city of Sanctum, bastion of civilization to some in the wasteland, a glorified shanty town to others.
Join Eddie as he travels the wastes, dodging bounty hunters, bandits, monsters and worse all while making friends/hostages along the way.
