Summary: Dreamer Poppy McCloud can’t shake the Nightmare that haunts her dreams nor the feeling that she doesn’t belong amongst the wheat farms and florescent school lights of Yawnee Indiana. When her best friend Wheatly gives her a mysterious starry necklace for her tenth birthday –that reacts to her touch alone– it leads them to StarSpun, the primordial world of dreams. But her dreamy journey soon turns nightmare when Wheatly is kidnapped and taken to the Nightmirror. To save him, Poppy must face the very Nightmare that hounds her: a creature who, thanks to the magic of StarSpun, grows stronger every time she runs away.
