Young Stanley was just 13 when he saw his first motorcycle, but it was love at first sight (or sound perhaps). After just 4 years, he found himself at the world's biggest race; not as a spectator, but as an audacious competitor who, at such a young age, was not welcome in a sport meant for grown men. The challenge was formidable; 6 times around an open road course where just one lap was 37 miles of gravel roads, stone walls and mountain fence posts. It was all to be done against the clock and as fast as possible.
