As humans crave the return of magic to their lands, elves are slowly welcomed across the boarder. Once the elves arrive, they find that they are not welcomed by all. The heavy regulation of the practice of magic within the territory has created an underground trade system and one of the most prominent groups involved in this trade is fronted by an elf named Sho Ryu.
Sho Ryu is a well recognized and charming figure who has curiously won the political favor of a few key politicians. Standing in his shadows is his younger sibling, Briar. Kept in the dark and away from the public eye, Briar is mysterious. Though through infrequent sightings, he’s become known for his remarkable beauty.
Away from the public eye, Briar’s life is far from beautiful and his experience as a pawn in his brother’s grand game of politics leaves him hopeless and isolated. The loneliness he feels consumes his entire life until a fateful encounter with a young man slowly begins to satisfy his craving for companionship.
