Since non-human creatures first walked the world werewolves and vampires have been at war. Werewolves acting as the silent protector of humans who they form sacred Soulmate bonds with.
However, after the Blue Moon massacre three years ago the two species have established a tenuous treaty between the local vampires clans and packs; led by the Lowell pack Alpha and the oldest vampires in the world.
Luca is the youngest son of the Lowell pack Alpha. Used to hiding his sexuality - which is ostracised in werewolf culture - and trying to live a quiet life. Unfortunately his older brother Bryan, the soon-to-be-alpha, has other ideas.
One bar fight gone wrong with younger vampires allows his path to cross with William Faulkner, the 2nd oldest vampire. Will sees the signs in Luca and offers to help guide him; the two growing closer against their better judgement.
After all, being gay is one thing but dating a vampire? It broke every rule in the book.
