Diamond Age takes place in a futuristic planet Earth, in which Humans and other mythical creatures (such as elves, orcs, dwarves, gnomes, vampires, werewolves…) live in a peaceful society, molded by the ages-long discovery of Diamonds as an infinite and clean energy source and incredible technological advancements in all fields. As a result, there are no resource wars, food shortages, lethal diseases or poverty of any kind. All creatures, both savage and civilized, live in a relative ambience of peace, freedom and prosperity.
However, despite the existence of all those features, crime and corruption still exist, as well as scientific or paranormal events that have hurtful or lethal consequences on innocent people. Zack Vitallis and Alex Vastagus are two operatives of OPSENS, a private agency meant to handle such cases, which are mostly classified as "unsolvable" even by law enforcement agencies. Their job will place them on the path of unconventional criminal activity, supernatural events and conspiracies that could compromise the fate of the world itself...
