Decades in the future, the world is plagued by drowned cities, encroaching deserts, and insufficient resources to feed billions of people. As nations engage in last-shot wars and law collapses across the lands, innocents are caught in a daily struggle to survive, forced by the Chinese government to give up daily "energy allotments" as tax for their existence. Among this, an obscure terrorist organization emerges, seeking to overthrow the prevailing government leaders and mend the fault carved across the nation by their unjust operations.
Osias, a young man living a quiet life in Northwest China, one day finds his world violently flipped upside down and thrust into the heart of the terrorist faction. As he begins to accept his new role in the organization, Osias discovers more about the world, his allies and himself, and realizes that he is far more pivotal in the war than he could have originally imagined, or ever desired.
