I really like the atmosphere of this story so far the way Lumen lives quietly in the forest while dealing with both his mysterious illness and the prejudice from others already makes the world feel heavy and emotional. The detail about him being half elf and trying to avoid attention was especially compelling. Do you plan to reveal what’s actually causing his illness as the story goes on?
