The sound of a ringing phone fills the darkness of night. The phone rings with an alerting sound, calling for an emergency. A woman picks up the phone and answers,

“Marienne here!”

Her sound was calm, even in a moment like this.

”It is time…”

The voice from the phone stops with a cold and simple sentence.

“Am I ” she paused briefly “going to start my mission!”.

Her calm was broken with a small stutter, but she regains her composure fast. The voice from phone continued.

-Yes, it should be simple for you. You will leave early in the morning, take out the team with you.

Voice gave her long-awaited orders and now she is filled with mixed emotions.

-Understood sir. I will not fail!

-I know you won’t.

That marks the end of the conversation.

After she hung up the phone, turned to curtains. As she opens the curtains, moonlight fills the room and illuminates its interior. A small room with a bed, wardrobe, a desk for working without any much object on it, a photo board on the wall and a small table with two chairs. Even with the owner’s presence the room still felt empty. But her presence, her existence itself was stealing all attention. Her body was firm and well composed, showing she was training for years. Her amber eyes and clean face was utterly beautiful. But above everything else, her crimson long hair was the very essence of the beauty of her. The tone of her red hair is well matched to her high spirits and ferocity. Brought her the name Marienne Redstar.

She was trained under harsh control of the Void Society since she was eight years old, it was relentless, painful but fruitful. She was always patient and followed the lead of her superiors without any objection. She was talented and pass the ranks miraculously. Many envied and sabotaged her but her determination was strong thus she never failed her missions and in ten years she was the top of the society.

All of these was for one mission, she was brought to the society for this mission. She was raised for this mission and at some point, her only focus in life was this mission. She was appointed a target ten years ago, a target she observed for all these years. She knows what her target does every hour of the day, week and month. His routine was recorded every day and brought to her for observation. She never met him personally for it was saved for this mission, and all these years of mystery were finally ending.
