On May 13, 684 in the country of Rulan, a baby girl by the name of Emma was brought into the world. She was raised by her aunt and uncle because her mother died from childbirth and her father couldn't live without her. So she grew up as Emma Yulian, in an overpopulated house because they never had enough space to live in the capital.

       She grew up very fast and was already 5 years old, and when every child turns 5, they have to go test their oddity. She was in a very long line, her number was 1,654. Because they give you a number, you can go and wait until your number is needed. So her family went and stayed in the cheapest inn there was in the royal capital. After 2 days of waiting her number was finally called and when she got tested. Her oddity was time because this is one of the rarest oddities, her family was very happy about that. She got rated 75 out of 100 which is very good for a commoners ability because they usually get 20's and 30's.

        After she got tested she went shopping with her aunt and cousin because this was such a rare opportunity but she got lost. And ran into a little boy with beautiful blonde hair and blue eyes. But she couldn't get sidetracked, so she apologized and hurried off to find her aunt and cousin. She finally found them at a fruit stall, they were very worried about her because she just left. After they finished shopping they went back to their inn to eat dinner and get sleep before they had to go back to the capital.

       Once they turned 10, they sent Emma and her cousin Tom to the oddity academy because their base score was good. After they got there they were luckily put into the same homeroom with Mr. Corusow. He was a very nice teacher, but he gave off weird vibes sometimes, and he looked too young to be a teacher because in Rulan you need at least 5 extra years of schooling and he barely looked 20 and you graduate at the age of 18 or sometimes 17 if you skip a year. After they got their room assignments they were free for the rest of the day to explore campus, find their room, and make friends. Emma's room was room 205, she had a roommate because her family could only afford a 2 person room.

        Right after she picked her bed, she started to put her stuff away and then her roommate entered their room. she looked very small and fragile. She had black hair and light blue eyes. As soon as she came in, she collapsed on her bed. Emma didn't know what to do so she just let her sleep. She left her roommates key on her dresser with a little note that said "you looked really tired so I didn't want to wake you up. here's the key to our room. your roomie". after that Emma went and met up with Tom to explore campus further.
