Apip, the element of pure fire, is a very powerful being. created by the Sun God Gitchi and the Goddess Esther, and sprouted from a seed that Gitchi planted into the Goddess's womb, Apip was born formless and bright. He was so powerful that everything he touched he burned and destroyed. Gitchi said Apip lacked self-control and saw immediately that his son was consumed with the pursuit of power. Apip was envious of his father because Gitchi was the one true Sun God; creator of all life-giving energy. Apip wanted to prove he was more powerful than his father Gitchi so he decided to kill his mother Esther and consume her spiritual power to make him the strongest. "If I can combine my power with hers that should give me enough power to escape this real and battle Gitchi". When Gitchi found out about what Apip was planning to do, he went to go and sit with the Goddess Esther and warn her of what their son was planning. As they talked Gitchi noticed the Goddess Esther getting angry with him. She told Gitchi not to worry about her and that she was strong enough to handle her child. Later that day Apip called out to his mother to meet him at the Red Desert. When the Goddess came to where Apip was she questioned why he wanted to meet in such a lifeless place. He told her; this is where he came to meditate, and so they spent some time in the Desert. They conversed for hours about how Gitchi came to her with thoughts of creation. Apip questioned who he was and the Goddess explained to Apip that he was created by divine energy and love. Esther told him that he was a very powerful being. "Apip who you are and what you become is solely based on the choices you make." she said. As the sun set and the day began to end Apip turned to his mother and asked for a hug before they parted ways. Apip waited foe Gitchi to completely leave out of the realm. Now is the time, Apip was ready; he wanted to embrace true power for himself to fully see what it is he will become. She embraced Apip with energy and he ignited into flames incinerating her and everything around them. As the fire blazed around the Goddess Esther she let out a cry and cursed her son Apip. The Goddess spoke her last words to Apip saying " you are not worthy of the gifts you've been given". She then bounded him in a suit of skin and dispersed his power into the world. "Go seek a purpose which is noble and true and only then will your powers be restored to you". The Goddess Esther then turned into ashes. As Apip looked downwards he noticed he had two legs and feet. What am I to do now? Apip thought. " I need to find a way to get my powers back". Now as a human he couldn't orb or teleport out of the Red Desert, and it is impossible for humans to survive the swift shifting sands of time that plague this realm. It would destroy the body and drive the mind of a human mad. Apip is forced to wander through the Red Desert for days until the time shift stops for a pass portal to open. Apip treks through the deserts sandy terrain but time goes by slowly here. The long days and very short nights play havoc on the human body. As Apip continues he starts to notice the sand shifts changing directions more frequently and this angered Apip. Apip threw his hands up in an emotional fit as he blamed Gitchi for his downfall. "It's his fault why I'm here, and his energy that created this monstrous realm as well. Curse you Gitchi!" Apip had never felt these types of feelings before. "I'm the Fire God; once pure energy, now look at me, just a human. All flesh and bones." Still more days go by. Apip grows tired and is now starting to feel the effects of starvation and dehydration on the body. Apip has never felt this type of pain before. Frustration, hunger, thirst are all new feelings causing all new emotions to the God. Yet he still marches forward as his human form starts to grow heavier. Apip wandered the Red Desert for sixty days. Apip's body started to show signs of fatigue; his legs felt like rubber bands with every step he took. Just as his body was about to give out, Apip took another step forward and in the distance saw a bright blue and white glow. Apip started to run toward it; he thought a pass portal was opening up. "I can finally leave this cursed desert". he said. As Apip got closer to the lights he saw a man in a red and gold robe holding a sword wit a purple, orange, and red aura cloaking him. The robed figure looked directly at the sun and pierced it with the tip of his sword. The Sun's condensed power poured into the robed figure. He watched and saw that the power was too intense for the figure and it started to expand inside of the figure's body until the light forced its way out through the body. then the light exploded and the vessel was destroyed. The explosion created a pass portal and on the other side of the portal Apip could see vegetation, so with the last bit of his energy he pushed himself up and started to run towards the portal. Apip's body was fatigued and slow. He thought " If I don't move faster the portal will close and I will be stuck here much longer." Apip gave it everything he had and forced his way through, and when he fell on the other side of the portal he fainted.
Meanwhile, there are several groups of rebel Nomadic tribes that live in the forbidden jungle. The main tribes that inhabit the jungle are the fire-eating tribe of the Phoenix, The reptilian tribe of the Salamander, and the wise tribe of the Griffins. These tribes do not agree with the beliefs of the people in Magnar's Kingdom. They don't praise the Great Magnar, they instead deal with dark magic and practice forbidden rituals, dances, and sacrifices. These tribes are the first generation of humans who were in direct contact with the Goddess Esther at birth. The Goddess saw greatness within these human beings so she taught them magic and ways to control the elements. She showed the how to harness the power within themselves. Soon the humans grew and populated the earth at an astounding rate. The Goddess then became lonely and decided to observe the humans from the sky with Gitchi. While away, the Gods noticed that the humans became very unstable, emotional creatures due to the mix of light and dark energies tied tightly together within them. When left unattended, some of the humans would let their emotions control them and use their powers to turn dark and harm each other. Gitchi and the Goddess decided to place several locks on the human form to stabilize and control the output of light and dark energies within them. Once the locks were placed within the humans, the Gods also decided to strip them of their knowledge and scattered the humans as seeds in the wind throughout the planet. Now the farther away from the Gods the humans are the weaker they become and death will soon follow. The Goddess Esther questioned Gitchi asking, " Now that we have exiled and stripped the knowledge of the unworthy what will you do with them now?" Gitchi thought about it for a moment and said " From within is the only way to know thy self and discover true peace in the light. Let them experience life fully and see if they will evolve into a greatness even I haven't imagined. For now, let's divide the Earth into quarters and give control to the Elements." The Gods sent the Elements down to shape the planet one at a time each with a different disguise. Unlike the punishment that was given to Apip, the Elements were able to keep their powers. Gitchi gave them one task as rulers on the planet. "My children fill your kingdoms with those who seek the keys of Enlightenment. You will be a guide for the humans to follow." The Elements descended onto the planet and started to build their kingdoms in different regions.
