Her eyes moved to glance over at him, before motioning to the street again, "Babe, I'm getting a little lost here."
"Oh, sorry," He shook his head, focus returning to his eyes, "Turn that corner, and I'm in the center row home."
She nodded, glancing back at him again, confused before she turned, and then, as they arrived at that row home, slowed to a stop, "Sweetie, it doesn't look like you want to be here." She winked, "I can always buy you a change of clothes."
He sighed, leaning his shoulder against the car door, "I know you can." He turned to smile at her, though with his furrowed brow and downward gaze, it didn't hold the same charm, "I guess I wanted you to see a bit of myself too. You're offering me the world, and I can't give you anything like that-"
"Please. I don't care." She sat up, leaning towards him to kiss his cheek, "What you are giving me in return is beyond anything I can buy. All I want is you."
He looked up to gaze back into her eyes, leaning forward to brush his lips against hers, "That so adorably corny, and I love you for it. You would take care of me?"
"Of course."
He felt his heart beat faster. No hesitation. The offer wasn't part of a flirtatious game. It was genuine. He felt an answer bubble to the surface, an impulsive answer that would open to a future he did not yet know but was excited to experience. He took a deep breath, his eyes lidded as he gazed into Ira's eyes, "I'm looking forward to spending this night and much more with you. I want to take care of you too..." He pressed his lips gently against hers, enjoying the small caress of their lips together before he pulled back to whisper, "In many different ways."
She purred against his lips, "Is that a yes?"
He leaned back, his eyes towards the dashboard, "...I need to think about that a little more. Maybe after this and more nights with you. Okay, babe?"
Her hand reached up to stroke his left cheek, running her thumb against his lips, "I'm not very patient, but I can wait for you."
He kissed that thumb and then gripped her hand gently, pressing his lips against her fingers, one after the other. His lips then lingered on the back of her hand, cooing softly against her skin, "I just need to grab a few things. I'll be right back."
She nodded, smiling softly as he reluctantly let go of her hand. The doors opened, and she watched as he stepped out, gritting her teeth, her lower lip trembling before she took a deep breath, shaking her head as she pushed her impatience deep down inside. She leaned her head back against the headrest, thinking back on the night, on their relationship, the dates, the picnics, the warm embraces, the deep kisses, and his touch. She cooed, her thighs rubbing together as she thought on the promise of tonight. "He's yours. Just need him to confirm it, that's all."
She pulled off her driving prosthetic, setting it to the passenger side with his tie before she stepped out of the car, making sure to take her purse with her and place it across her shoulders. She leaned against the door, taking in the fresh evening air as she heard his footsteps towards his soon to be former home, enjoying the moonlight.
It was always so beautiful, even in an area like this. The glow of the moon added an ethereal serenity to the boarded homes and cracks on the pavement. It also enhanced the stars in the sky. Maybe she'll bring him up to the roof of the penthouse so they could just stare at the stars.
Among other things.
She chuckled, feeling a warmth build-up under her skin before she noticed his footsteps had stopped. She didn't hear the sound of a house door opening; instead, she heard him give a gasp, and then a brief, brusque sigh. She blinked and walked towards him, "Babe, what's the holdup?"
Tristan turned to face her, shaking his head and smiling with brow furrowed slightly, "It's nothing-"
