Read It's Dark in Another World :: Prologue

All around me, my rhythmic tranquil heart echoes throughout this vast, warm, safe place of obscurity.

But somewhere within this limitless region, there is a being that is luring me out; itching against my own thoughts.

The endless utterance of

es… cape…

clashes with my own heartbeat.

I do not understand why this presence would want me to leave this place of continuous serenity, and if I were to attempt such a feat; how would I remove myself from this imminent darkness that surrounds me?

As though in answer, the existence in my mind becomes stronger, mingling into my own thoughts, to form its own notions.

The voice is soft, gentle and wants to be heard;

There is a way...

What is the way?

Move… panic…. burst! Reach for outside the darkness…

How do you reach outside of something that has no end?

No longer in my thoughts, the penetrating sound rocks my never-ending abyss,

“MOVE!”
