I heard faint talking. I groaned as I turned over in my bed. My little brother was calling my name.

Ben: Emma! Emma! Wake up!

I sat up slightly.

Emma: What do you want?

Ben: I have to pee.

Emma: Then go.

Ben: Lilly's blocking it. She won't let me go.

Emma: Seriously?!

I got up and walked out of my room.

Emma: LILLY! Out of the way! Now!

Lilly: Why? You're not the boss of me!

I faced the palm of my hand towards her to scare her.

Emma: Wanna say that again?

She quickly got out of the way and Ben ran to the bathroom.

Emma: Moms gonna be home soon. Clean up your mess. 

Lilly: Fine!

I walked back to my room and laid back down. I fell back asleep and then heard loud giggling and laughing. I burst out of my room and open Lilly and Ben's room.

Emma: Can I not sleep during summer break?!

Lilly looked at me and giggled some more.

Emma: Unbelievable. 

I walked into the kitchen and started to make myself some breakfast since I wasn't gonna be able to fall asleep today. I then heard the door open I look over see my mom walking through the door. She looked at me and smiled.

Mom: Hey honey! You're up early.

Emma: Doesn't mean I wanna be.

She put down the bags and walked towards me.

Mom: What happened?

Emma: I can't sleep because of Ben and Lilly. 

Mom: Oh... I'm sorry.

Emma: You know what? It doesn't matter. I was gonna take a walk today anyway. 

I took a piece of toast and slipped on my shoes.

Emma: Okay. Bye.

Emma: Bye sweetie. 

I closed the door and made my way towards a field that I always walk in. About 30 minutes later, I make it to the tree that I usually sit at and read. I look down and see a necklace. It was sliver with some rust on it. I picked it up and then heard someone behind me. I turned around and saw a guy in a black hoodie. I couldn't see his skin nor his face. He looked at the necklace.

Emma: Is this yours?

He grabbed it.

?: Yes.

He then turned around and walked away while putting it on. It was weird. He said it in a quick voice like he urgently needed that necklace. I decided to let it go and just sat down. I pulled out my book and started reading. I couldn't stop thinking about that guy though. How I couldn't see his face. It was like his skin was black. Not like the race... but actual black. He also had gloves on. I just hope I never see him again. About an hour later, I start to walk back home. I passed by a store and decided to buy myself a drink with the few dollars I had left. I went inside the store and walked over to the fridges. I grabbed a lemonade and turned around. I then see someone in the corner of my eye. It was a guy with platinum blonde, messy hair, and dark, aqua blue eyes. But there was a bit of light blue in them too. I noticed that he was wearing the necklace that I gave that guy earlier today.

The guys perspective: I got home and took off my hood. I sighed. I almost lost it. I don't know what I would've done if I couldn't find it... What God would've done to me. He gave it to me to protect me. And to help me hide what I am. It was a gift. 

Emma's perspective: The guy was looking at a bag of Doritos like he hasn't seem one in fifty years. I walked over to the cashier and put my lemonade on the counter. I bought the drink and then started to head out. I noticed the guy glanced at me for a minute. I was walking when I noticed that my shoe was untied. I stopped to tie it and then the guy walked passed me. He stopped in front of a man holding a sign. He was sitting next to a sign that said "Please help, I lost my house and my leg." I then looked at his leg. He only had one. The other was a stub. He knelt down next to the guy. He put the bag next to the sleeping man and then some money in the cup in front of him. He then got up and walked off. I got up after I finished tying my shoe and decided to give my lemonade to him. I set the drink down next to him and walked back home. When I opened my door and stepped inside the house, I heard the ear piercing screams flooding through my ears. I sighed and slipped my shoes off as I closed the door. I went to my room, plopped down on my bed and took out my phone. I decide to go in the living room when the twins invade my room. I'm reading my book when I hear someone knocking on the door. I open it and see the guy from earlier. He's holding my bracelet. It was one that had my picture in the locket.

?: I found this on the grass in the field. I saw your picture in it and I went to the address.

I grabbed it.

Emma: Thank you so much.

The locket had the only picture that my dad was in before he died. The others burned in the fire along with him. 

?: No problem.

He sweetly smiled at me before turning the other way and walking off. I blushed. He looked really cute. I closed the door while smiling. I then see Ben and that's when I noticed that it was quiet.

Ben: Who was that? and why are you smiling?

I look at my mom who's looking at me with an evil smile.

I sighed.

Emma: It's no one. I don't even know his name.

Mom: Why are you smiling?

Emma: Because he just gave me dads bracelet. I dropped it and he came all the way here just to give it back. 

She sighed.

Mom: If you say so.

I walked back to my room and put the bracelet in my jewelry box and then sat on my bed. Did I like someone that I didn't even know the name to?
