Chantel headed out to Arcadia Meadows neighborhood, where the rich folks live and play. It is not too far from where she lived, with only a ten-minute bus ride to the place. Arriving in the neighborhood, Chantel had to walk past the big, white, brick mansion houses and apartments to find Cho’s house. After a couple minutes, she found a big, white house with a long, beautiful yard and had a big, black gate that guarded it. Chantel walked up to the buzzer, then talked into it to make it known of her presence.
The gate door flung open as she continued walking onto the front door. It was not too long for that door to open as a happy-faced Cho greeted her when she arrived on the front porch. The two of them exchanged greetings and Cho welcomed her into the house. First things first, Chantel took off her shoes before proceeding further into the house as she placed her shoes where the rest of the other guests’ shoes were at. Chantel also put her purse and coat on the coat rack, making her way to the living room.
She saw three of the Apple Queens members: Raleigh, Dakota, and Kiki, who came out of the door from another room. When the members saw Chantel, they just waved at her, heading over to the front door to get their things. Chantel returned the wave back to the other members as she felt worried on how Leticia would react to the truth about "Rose/Lily" impersonating her. It was not too long until they saw Leticia coming up the stairs as the two of them laid their eyes on each other.
“Chantel… I heard from Cho you wanted to see me?” Leticia said, putting her hands on her hips.
“We need to talk.” Chantel looked around the room to see if the Apple Queens were still close by. “Cho, is there a place for Leticia and I can talk in private?” Chantel asked Cho, who walked into the living room, holding a tray of apple pie.
“You two can talk downstairs, in the basement, if you need to.” Cho answered cheerfully, then put the apple pie down on the table. “You girls want some apple pie?” She had a knife, cutting a piece of pie.
The one thing Chantel liked about Cho over the years of knowing her is she is a good host to her guests in the house. The nice rich girl could have had maids and butlers do all the hospitality work, but the girl prefers doing this. Guess that comes with the fact Cho’s father is big in the hotel industry, owning tons of hotels, and she knows her hospitality knowledge well. Chantel declined Cho’s offerings to the pie, and Leticia did.
“Cho, you really need to chill on the damn baking. Like no one is going to eat your sweets.” Leticia added, which Chantel rolled her eyes at Leticia.
“It’s Cho’s damn house. Let her do whatever she wants. If she wants to bake, she can!” She protested, but Cho seemed to be unbothered by Leticia’s rude comment.
“It’s okay. You girls just go downstairs, while I’ll just continue baking. Oh and Leticia, people are EATING my sweets and I’m making money off of it!” Cho said to Leticia in a tone to dig in her comment.
Smirking, Chantel kept her giggle to herself as Leticia and her went down to the same door Leticia came out of. For a basement, the place is well-lighted, and the walls had a neutral, beige color that matched the environment. The two of them went to sit on the light brown couch, where the entertainment area is. As the two of them seated on it, Chantel tries figuring out a way to tell Leticia about the issue with Rose.
“So, what is your reason for seeing me? Something about Farris again?” Leticia put her arm on the couch arm, while she talked to her.
Chantel stopped her train of thought, then carefully worded what is about to say, “You know Lily? I mean, now Rose?”
“Argh, don’t bring up that name to me! I fired this crazy woman’s ass and I just went through a whole damn discussion with my band on why we fired her. Of course, I didn’t tell them she has crazy powers or the fact I am Supernatural. I just told them she is a con artist. So, don’t bring this chick up to me…” The girl ranted, which took Chantel back a little, but she had to continue telling her the truth.
“Sorry, I have to. Darren had told me that Rose is doing more than just lying about her identity. Um...you know the shitty nicknames and rumors of you guys sleeping with other guys?”
“Yeah, so? What does this have to do with Rose?” Leticia moving to her sitting position, crossing her legs while Chantel took another deep breath.
“Remember the lessons we got from the Rise of the Light? They told us that us Biokinetics can shape shift as other people, right? Well, it turns out from Darren, Rose has been pretending to be you and your band mates and sleeping with other people. I don’t know what reason why, but she is doing that.” Chantel explained.
Leticia’s eyes went wide and leaned back, then she laughed at Chantel’s confession. She got really annoyed on how Leticia did not take this seriously. Chantel's face became still as a stone statue, while the girl continued to chuckle. When Letica’s moment of laughter was over, she cleared her throat.
“Chantel, the only reason people have been calling us sluts or whatever is because they are jealous and the fact we don’t take bullshit from them. Plus, this sounds so ridiculous and why would Rose want to pretend to be me or any of us, anyway?” Leticia talked back to her.
“I don’t know Leticia, but I am telling you because it’s the right thing to do. You need to watch your back more now because I don’t know what Rose is trying to do! She could be ruining your band’s reputation!” Chantel admitted she wasn’t there when Darren saw what happened, but she needed to tell her in order for this plan to go forward.
“If you don’t know, then why the hell I should believe you?” Leticia said.
“Why not? We have a weird group that keeps on contacting us. You have a lying, former manager that doesn’t have your best interest in mind. You already believe you’re a Supernatural now. After all the crazy shit that is going on, why not believe that someone is fucking up your reputation then by using their powers?” Chantel pressed on Leticia with questions.
“Then prove it.” Leticia glared at her, which made Chantel got an idea to prove Leticia wrong.
The rave party...
If the Rise of Light is going to be there then, most likely, Rose would be there once again.
“Alright, we’re going to the Rave Party at Underwood to prove to you that Rose is doing you dirty." She said. standing up from the couch then added, “That is, if you care so much about your band’s reputation…” Chantel crossing her arms, while Leticia was looking at her suppression wristband to adjust her aura suppression level.
“Fine, then. I’ll go to that Rave Party. Can I go now?” Leticia replied in a tone sounding like a child that was being scolded.
Chantel sighed, then nodded.
Both of the girls took their leave from the basement. As the two of them walked upstairs and opened the door, a gray and white Malamute dog ran up to them. The dog barked and licked on Leticia’s jean pants, pulling on it. Annoyed, Leticia redirected the dog away from her pants, waving her hands to command it to get away from her.
“Missy, you’re going to mess up my new pants. Stop! I just bought these! ” Leticia scolding the dog, then Cho came running into the room, shaking a treat for the dog.
“Missy, come here, girl!” Cho called in Korean, waving a bone biscuit in her hand at the dog.
Missy rushed over to Cho to get the treat, giving the dog a bone biscuit, devouring it in one go. After that, Leticia made her leave, as she bid Chantel and Cho farewell, then she pet Missy. Chantel watched Leticia put on her boots before she headed out the door. The door closed when Leticia left the house. Chantel felt relieved that she was at least getting somewhere on the first part of the plan Darren, Jesse, and she created.
