I kinda retconned the part where Morsi is going to be executed if he investigates Verdana's case; seems a bit excessive. He'll just get fired or something. Anyways, here he is, secretly confronting the supposed captor of Verdana, The Archmagistrate Pouven. Morsi learns about Pouven's motives as well as Verdana's strange behavior, not even trying to advocate her innocence.
I've been having a medical issue that's made it difficult to do this page; pain has a way of stealing your focus. But the page is completed now, time to move on to the next thing.
