SEVERAL HOURS AGO... 

"That's it for today everyone. See you all next week." the professor said unenthusiastically, like always I guess. "Yesss! The weekend is finally here!", one of my classmates, Mio, cried out. "Hey Jin! You wanna go out for drinks?" he asked me, "The guys and I in the department are going, you should come too!". "Ahhh, I don't know. I'm not really good with alcohol" I reply to him. "Well that's okay! You don't have to drink any alcohol, just be there. See you then!" he tells me as he walks towards his group of friends.  I'd say Mio's a nice guy. He's sometimes helpful and very extroverted but not in an annoying way.  He's got a positive exterior, a nice face, a good body, great hair, great grades. GAAAA!! He pisses me off so much. No offense but for a college student to be able to look that good and have good grades at the same time is impossible. He has to be a vampire or something. Also, he's my next door neighbor and I always see him either coming home or leaving looking flawless. Like what!?  

I'm not really sure if I should go. Most people in our class say I have a gloomy and down appearance that they say "kills the mood". I mean it's not my fault I don't get much sleep. I mean between studying for classes, homework, and my part-time job, I barely have time to ever sleep except for the weekend. Oh wait, maybe it is my fault then. Anyways, should I really give up my nap time for drinks. Mio suddenly came back to me and said, "Oh I forgot to mention. Drinks are on Sanso, he says he's celebrating his break-up with that girl from OO Tech."  Oh my god, free booze. "You son of a bitch I'm in" I tell him. 

We all met up at the local campus club around six. But the next few events are nothing what I could've expected. "Hey I thought you said it was a celebration, NOT A MIXER!" I complained to Mio. To be clear, a mixer is a group event, a sort of informal gathering for people to mingle. In this case, with the opposite sex. In other words, THESE GUYS ARE TRYING TO GET LUCKY TONIGHT!  "Hey! Why did you even bring me here there's only four girls and five of us. Even then I got zero chances with my height and looks already." I say to Mio. "Ah well, to be honest, the guys actually asked me to invite you so that they'd seem more...approachable" he replied. "Approachable? You pricks! You guys are making me the ugly duckling so that you all have higher chances with them" I think to myself. 

Crap. If I stay, that means I'll be surrounded by these assholes who're trying to use me. But, if I leave, I risk losing the free booze. 

Hmmm...I guess I'm staying. 

While watching the other guys tried to shoot their shots, I think the girls were more interested in Mio than anyone else. "So Mio, you're a foreigner right?" one of the girls asked. Mio nodded yes. "Wow they must feed you all really well over there. You're so tall and...big" one of the other girls commented. Meanwhile, I could see the other guys regret ever taking Mio with them. But hey that's their problem, all I've gotta do is survive the night and drink all the booze Sanso can afford. Suddenly one of the girls asks, "Anyways, who's the highschooler sitting next to you Mio?" I shortly choke on my beer after hearing her question. I mean seriously is this chick blind? Sure I'm 5'0" (152.4 cm) and have a baby face, but does she not see the pint of beer resting on my lips. "Oh no. This is Jin. Although he may not look it, he's actually the same age as us." Mio said with a laugh, "He's in the same department as me and is actually my neighbor too. What a coincidence!". 

"Oh, I see" the girl said with a hint of uncomfortability. Be all uncomfortable you want sweetheart, you're free to leave. I wouldn't say I'm insecure about my height and looks. I've always been short and it's not something I necessarily have a prejudice about. But I wouldn't say that I like being short either, it does have its cons. After that altercation, I started to chug heavily on the pints. I'm not sure how many I had, but I sure hope Sanso can cover it. "Hey tell Jin to slow down! He looks pretty hammered already." Sanso says worrily to Mio. "You're right. Aw man, I hope he'll be able to get home." Mio says. A sudden realization comes to Sanso's mind. "Hey y'know what, since you two are neighbors why don't you take him home. He looks like he needs the help." Sanso suggests. "Good idea!" Mio agrees. "Sorry everyone I've gotta help this fella get home. But I had a lotta fun." he tells the girls. 

Meanwhile, Mio quickly pulled me up and put my arm over his shoulder; helping me walk out.  When we got to my dorm, he searched my body for my keys, but me flailing my limbs flat out drunk didn't help him one bit. "Hey, stop moving. Do you want to get into your room or not?" Mio tells me. He then reaches into one of my front pockets and grabs out my key and opens my door. But not before I trip over myself and on to him, making both of us fall through the door. THUMP! I land on the floor while Mio is on top of me. "Ow my head." I say wearily. "Ahh, Jin! Are you okay" Mio says worridly. After rubbing my head, I look up and see Mio's dastardly handsome face in front of me. God, does this guy have any bad angles? "Why are you so f#*king handsome?" I accidentally let out. Ah, so this is where it started. Mio's face suddenly looked stunned as if he had realized something. That's when he suddenly went in for it, when he put his lips on mine.
