Teddy Lopez stepped out of his house to be hit with the chilly october breeze brushing across his face, and the autumn scent in the air. He waited patiently on the steps for his older brother Tyler Lopez to unlock the car doors. Although Tyler must be taking his time because Teddy has been waiting for a minute now.

“Tyler! Hurry up,” He called to his older brother. Even Tania, Tyler's girlfriend, came out before him. “Move, you’re in my way.” She mumbled nudging past Teddy who only rolled his eyes. She spends one night at their house and thinks she owns the place.

“Sorry,” Tyler comes a minute later and opens the door for Tania and Teddy.

Teddy sighs walking with him down the steps and sees across the street Charlie Florist, hurriedly coming down his steps, almost tripping at that to make it to his car. “Morning Charlie.” Teddy called over. Charlie looked up for a split moment only to go back to fumbling in his bag searching for something. “Hi Teddy.” Is all he said before rushing back into his house.

Charlie Florist is an omega that moved into the house across from the Lopez’s with his adopted grandmother. He’s 21, an adult, but is still shorter than Teddy who isn’t that tall. Charlie only moved almost over a year ago and he was just some shy korean, but over time Mrs. Lopez was persistent to get him to become her best friend and now he and his grandmother, Sylvia come over all the time. And Mrs. Lopez really wanted Charlie to go out with Tyler who doesn’t even notice Charlie half the time, even though he’s dating Tania Williams. Mrs. Lopez really dislikes Tania.

“Hey Ted, Let's go.” Tyler said. 

Tyler is 20 and right now he’s taking Teddy to school which is the same way to he and Tania’s college, where they are also headed. Of Course Tania doesn’t normally ride with them to school, Teddy himself is having trouble understanding why she is here, but it is only because she slept over without Mr. and Mrs. Lopez’s consent and walked downstairs this morning like she owned the place. Just because she is an alpha coming from a sestimed Alpha family, she believes she can do whatever she wants. 

The Lopez family are merely Beta and Alphas. Teddy, his brother and mother, Alana Lopez, are Alphas while Roberto Lopez, Teddy’s father, is a beta. Both Teddy’s parents are doctors working night and day to provide for the family. And they really like being doctors and working together like they had planned since their teenage years.

“Thanks, See ya.” Teddy waved to his brother and his girlfriend once he was dropped off at his highschool where many teenagers were all crowding the campus pouring into the entrance. On a chill autumn morning like this, It’s so relaxing to Teddy. 

“Teddy!” A voice called out his name. To him, this was always the best part.

To his left he could see a small stubby omega heading his way with a tall beta, casually scrolling through his phone. The Omega is Oliver Gardener and the beta is Ivan Palmer. Teddy’s best friends. “Hey guys.” He smiled more.

“Oh you're not with Ashely?” Oliver asks. “Ah no, I drove with Tyler this morning. Ashley texted me saying Jordan would pick him up.” Teddy says making Oliver frown and Ivan roll his eyes. “He and that Prick are still together?” Ivan mumbled.

“Ivan, don't say that! Ashely likes him.” Ollie slightly wacked the boy on the shoulder earning only another eye roll from him. “So how do we know they’re not having sex in the parking lot right now?” He said back and Ollie gasps.

“Hey don’t say that to him.” Teddy quickly moves to cover the poor child's ears with a sigh. 

Oliver is the baby of the friend group. The youngest and most innocent, making Ashely, Ivan and Teddy want to protect him at all costs. Ashley is the third youngest but only a month younger than Teddy. He is also an omega and really beautiful, resulting in him already dating half the guys at school or sleeping with them. Including Teddy and Ivan. Ashely wasn’t really dating them, more like made out with them  and then “broke up” with them for unknown reasons to Teddy and Ivan. Ashely is also extremely dramatic so it wasn’t so surprising when he showed up at Teddy’s doorstep one evening spouting hysterically about something Teddy didn’t know of, punched him in the stomach and then went inside to make cookies with Mrs. Lopez and telling her he and Teddy just broke up. Mrs. Lopez didn’t find it out of the ordinary at all.

Ashley did something similar to Ivan the very next day and till this very moment, it’s still a wonder what they had done to be assaulted by him.

But anyway, Ashely right now is dating Jordan Walch and after Teddy mistakenly looked for Jordans car in the parking lot, he surely could see two figures going at it in the sleek black honda civic. 

“Ugh.” Ivan also caught it and quickly turned Oliver away. “Yeah don’t look over there, let's just go.” He mumbled and Teddy agreed as they went into the main entrance of the school. “Huh? But what about Ash? We aren’t going to wait for him?” Ollie asks. 

“No, he’ll be fine” Teddy smiled and patted the boy on the shoulder.

“So what are we doing after school?” Ivan asked when the group made a pit stop at their lockers. “Um we can go to my house,” Teddy suggests knowing that's what Ivan wanted anyway. “Great.” Let's have another pool rematch.” He added quickly and Teddy could only sigh. His family has a pool table on the patio in their backyard and Ivan keeps losing to Teddy, always wanting a rematch.

Its tiring but really fun. 

“U-um will Tyler be there?” Oliver asked, shyly. “Probably not.” Teddy replied, trying his hardest not to roll his eyes. Oliver, for a good six years, has had a major crush on Tyler. Since the very moment he met Tyler in 5th grade he’s been completely obsessed with the man. For some odd reason. Teddy believes when Oliver comes to his house it's because he’s there to see Tyler at this point.

“Ollie, can you let it go?” Ivan says bluntly, making Ollie frown. “Hey, hey ,hey leave him alone.” Teddy glares at Ivan who literally didn’t seem to care about Oliver's hurt expression. “What? I’m just saying. Why can’t you have a normal crush Ollie? Like Adam. Adam likes you.” 

“But I-- Wait what?!” Ollie gasps loudly, “Adam likes me?!” 

Teddy shoots Ivan a look,and he just brushes it off ignoring it. Yes Adam Fisher likes Ollie. But it was supposed to be a secret. Fisher asked Ivan and Teddy, personally not to tell Ollie because he was going to ask him out soon. Ivan obviously didn’t seem to care. Teddy didn't care iether but still, he was wiling to keep it a secret.

“Yes, but we weren’t supposed to tell you.” Teddy sighs.

“Oh my God you knew?! And you didn’t tell me? Is that why he always walks me to class and takes me to chick-fil-A on lunch?” Oliver is now putting the puzzle pieces together. Anyone from a mile away could tell Adam likes Ollie, except Ollie. He’s a little clueless.

“ Yes Oliver.” Ivan nods.

“O-ohmygod, Ohmygod, w-what do I do?” He asks frantically. “Hey,” Teddy smiled, holding his arms, “Just be yourself. Nothing changed between you.” 

“But Tedd--”

“Oh look, he’s coming this way right now.” Ivan said, smiling when Ollie’s cheeks flushed. “ Oh my god.” He muttered as Adam flashed him this stupid boyish smile and waltzed right up to him, towering over the small omega at 6’2 hieght compared to Ollie’s 5’1.

“Hey Ollie.” Adam greets him. No one else.

Ivan and Teddy exchange looks and nod, silently agreeing to destroy this guy if he ever tried anything funny. Although it is not like Adam Fisher actually will, Teddy suspects he’s not exactly Ollie’s ideal boyfriend anyway. But then again, maybe he is.

“Hi.” Oliver squeaked with a shy smile.  Not even missing a beat, Adam reached out for Ollie's hand, and gently tugged him toward himself. “Hey, I gotta talk to you ‘bout something. I’ll walk you to class.” He said, snaking an arm around Ollie’s waist like they are already dating, earning a low growl from Ivan and a deathly glare from Teddy.

It is not out of the ordinary though, Fisher does it all the time to get on their nerves. He knows Ivan and Teddy don’t completely want him even looking at Oliver. He's also doing it because Ashely isn't here who would probably attack him on sight.

“U-um okay…” Ollie blushed and smiled at the tall Alpha.

“Tch, what a douche.” Ivan scoffs when they walk away. Teddy just shakes his head and closes Olivers locker for him. “Let’s hurry up to class.” He suggests.
