‘It has been a tiring day today, first of all, I died, and as if not enough I reincarnated. I had a boring life before but now with a second shot at life I want to make it more exciting. I thought I was going to have to survive in the wild and build a shelter but it turned out I wasn't in this kind of novel.’
‘Not long after ‘spawning’ I already found civilization and already know the way to the town, the town is named Riviere by the way, I learned about it from the kid’s teacher who I'm following back so I don't get lost. I killed let me see…73 total White Bunnies and 3 goblins, one of which killed PikaPika may god have his soul.’
‘Hmm what else… Ah, then there is you, the voice of my consciousness that I'm talking to to keep sanity!’
[I am not the user voice of consciousness]
‘You are a voice in my head so what else could you be? The only difference is that you answer back’
[I am the administrator of the Chaos Monarch System]
‘Sure sure, you do you i don't mind what you are called’
Soon I had to stop my internal dialogue as I had arrived at the town walls. Before parting with my ‘convoy’, the teacher gave me a silver coin and said I would need it. I made my way to the entrance that was guarded by two guards holding halberds, one on which side of the gate. It was definitely not what I was expecting of a town, it makes you wonder how a city would be. While admiring the craftsmanship of those high stone walls it was eventually my turn to enter.
“Do you have your identity on you?” The gate clerk asked me following procedure.
“Sorry I don't, how do I get one?”
“First you gonna need to fork one silver to enter the city, if you don't want to pay everytime you gonna need to make a identity at the prefecture building”
I paid the silver coin and entered the town which I still could not believe wasn’t a city, the scenery inside made me even more sure of it.
Wide streets filled with an ocean of people of every type coming and going, another point of notice was that attached to either side of the streets was overhanging paper lanterns and colored flags. Maybe I arrived at the time of some festival that was the cause of the overcrowding.
Walking around I found a place where I could sell my ‘loot’, the vendor bought the 73 hides for 50 copper coins total and another 5 for the 2 clubs. I kept the third one for myself.
Feeling better now with a little coin to my name I went to the cheapest inn I could find to rent a room. I ended up paying 20 copper for a room and a meal.
While eating I paid attention to the drunk conversations.
“Have you heard? with all these adventurers coming to town for the new dungeon the mayor is planning a tourney! maybe this town will finally become a true city in due time”
“Of course, I also heard that the mayor hired mages to broadcast the matches in the streets!”
I stayed at the bar to hear a little more before going to sleep upstairs, the picture is, a natural dungeon was formed a few miles away from the town and that attracted adventurers wanting to try their luck and merchants wanting their money.
Different from their artificial counterparts made by crazy necromancers and the like, a natural dungeon is one that achieved unknown parameters and then mutated under the blessing of the world to become a natural dungeon. Usually they are permanent as the world itself respawn monsters and restock treasures, with a pile of renewable resources so close to home something needs to go really wrong to stop the town from becoming a city.

Waking up in the morning I could hear the bustling streets from my room, kids laughing and merchants peddling their merch, not long after a new window opened.
[Quest completed: Tutorial quest 02
☉ Level up a subordinate to level 5 0/1
Reward: One subordinate evolution ticked(basic)]
‘Is this thing daily? Well, sounds easy enough, looks like i got my work cutout for me already’
Getting up from the creaking bed and standing on the creaking floor, and walking to the bathroom surprisingly furnished with a bathtub with hot water. Water magic seems to be easier than wood magic, or any other magic used to build my room.
After my morning routine I went to the prefecture building to get my ID card. It would not be funny not being allowed back to town because I'm dirty poor.
‘I should go where I found those goblins, I could wait in ambush for a alone one to make it my subordinate, after yesterday I have the impression a level 5 Bunny would still be useless for other than a pet’
Having finished my day planning, I left town for the forest.
