"Is this how you talk to your aunt, nana?" said the deities, detesting the tune spoken by Nanami when she called her 'Lady of Darkness.'
Yun, the princess of demonic. One of many who inherit the darkness from the underground world. She was born demonic, implanted with wickedness, yet, she didn't comply with the rules set upon her fate since the day she existed in the demon realm.
Unlike any other siblings, Yun had a different idealogy than the rest of her brothers. It made her favorable from the day she was born into that family, the only woman in the demonic throne heir in line.
The cruelty and madness displayed by her parents and brothers weren't enough to sway her determination. Among all the siblings she had, Cynthia's father was the one who shared the same conservatism towards their domain. Thus, heavenly realms had accepted them in exchange for a temporal cease of war between them, which happened a few hundred years ago before the world ended.
"It is my surprise that you had no shame to call yourself my aunt. Where is your dignity as a demon?" Nanami stated the obvious by purposely provoking Yun into anger.
"Is that all you can do? Attempt to provoke your enemy while waiting for them to lose their rationality? Did you compare me to them? Those lowly demons who bow their head to us?!" Yun raised her voice. It seems like she got aggerated, but still in her controllable calm manner.
"Ah—You've started to lose it, aren't you?" Nanami said in her humorous tone. Her finger pointing at Yun's apparent weakness as they shared the same bloodline, demonic. "It is better to lose than bury it all in your heart. I don't think you may be able to seal me back to slumber again. Not when my sister agreed to switch her soul with me."
"What kind of nonsense are you talking about, nana. Both of you are one from the beginning. That's what you told her, right? Why did you say the opposite when you convinced yourself of that fact?" Yun threw off two fiery fireballs straight right after her speeches. As Nanami has predicted the outcome, she draws out the same pattern to counter Yun's attacks.
"Ambushing instead of attacking. Impressive, Lady of Darkness. I'll take back my word about your dignity," said Nanami. She jumped high up into the mid-air, attempting to throw another exact purple flame fireball that Yun had chanted earlier.
Yun didn't state her reply or react to those surprise attacks. Curiously, she let those attacks hit on her, spreading the wildfire of purple flame all over her body.
Nanami laughs as she predicts her aunt won't be able to avoid it in time. Her hands pressed hard on her stomach, enduring the joy burst out of her laughter of humiliation.
"This is your so-called gaining full control of your old self, nana?"
A sudden speech from Yun rushed up to Nanami's ears—immensely stupified Nanami upon hearing Yun's voice in a proper tone. No pain, no groan, yet Yun shows nothing in the particular wound caused by the flame burning over her body.
"You still have a long way to go if you think you can beat me with those half-boiled attacks."
Yun takes a split second and reveals herself in front of Nanami. After learning that Nanami had lowered her guard by being overconfident with herself, she took the initiative.
It has never been easy for Nanami to confront the real strength of God, who has hundredfold differences between neo-human and the ancient deity. While Nanami never knew that Yun could endure her high-level magic, it didn't even leave a scratch on her physical body.
The truth is, the flame wasn't hit on the spot where Nanami had predicted. Instead, Yun created an afterimage right after Nanami pointed her finger toward her. The moment she raised her voice, she already cast a silence enchantment on it. She put reverse psychology into Nanami's mindset, luring her into her trap.
"Half-boiled attack? Aren't you being too overconfident?"
Nanami does not admit her defeat halfway by being called a so-called half-boiled attack. She easily outwitted her aunt by doing the same trick done by Yun. Nanami created another afterimage right after she had pretended to lower her guard alongside her big laugh. No one had ever known that Nanami did the same trick, snapping her finger while drawing her big smile of provocation.
Multiple afterimages of both dark beholders appear all around the field. It sure gives Walker, who recovered his energy, to catch on to whatever eclipse is in front of his eye.
The split second when both of them reappear in motion, Walker's eyes had a missed while looking at the multiple afterimages created by Yun and Nanami. He decided to lend them a hand, but with this kind of speed, what could he do in an attempt to stop Nanami's madness?
"Apology for my bold act." Walker took his initiative without consulting the only deity he served. He took out the five-finger ring attached to his right hand; violated the rules that bound his horrifying hidden abilities.
It was a chain, jointed among five-ring, that sheathed each of his right-hand fingers. Every deity who acts almighty in this new world fears his hidden abilities. These powers could snap, steal and lock any opponent's abilities in an instance. Paralyzed and disabled their movement while sealing away their ability, Walker's spatial control ability knows no boundaries when he possessed limitless restriction. There is no measurement of how much he can contain the stolen energy inside his body once he removes the power restraint within the ring on his fingers.
FULL SPATIAL PRUDENCE!!~
The hide and seek act played by Yun and Nanami comes to a halt once Walker pushes his palm upward. Seal the air, stop the time, and remove every residual energy inside both girl body.
Yun had shocked, realizing a sudden weight that came crushed onto her body and forcefully sent her body pounding hard on the soft soil of this forest. It was the same experience that Nanami had to experience when she didn't expect the sudden removal of mana inside her body.
Both of them had a slight injury upon the force brought forth by Walker. Yun didn't express her anger in that imitating act. Still, Nanami despised the cowardice and displayed her anger toward Walker. The latter pushed his luck in a fight that Walker didn't initially involve.
