The interrogator blasts off the victim's head. Leaving me completely distraught to the point where I rush into the field of interrogation and attack the interrogator. Marlo and everyone else do not like the stunt I just pulled, but they are forced into fighting back regardless.
The Interrogator shouts, "KILL THEM!"
The soldiers charge in at Marlo, Titan, Scorch, Razor, and I and we five launch the number of such soldiers atop the mountains. Marlo proceeds to sleep-induce every soldier in sight by launching energy blasts at them so that they do not fight us. Leaving only the interrogator and one other soldier.
I however get caught off guard by the interrogator and get launched into outer space due to his energy blast. I get launched into galaxies from afar and as I struggle to stop the blast, it explodes on me with the other galaxies blown up in the process.
Marlo induces sleep on the interrogator so that he does not plot anything else. The other soldier that resembles the interrogator surrenders at once, due to being completely outmatched.
Titan, “Damn it Havik! This is all your fault!!”
Marlo, “All four of us charge at full power so that Havik can detect our energies and warp here.”
And they do just that, in pursuit of me reaching them, I instantly teleport. Coming out of the explosion somewhat scathed with my clothes a bit dirty. I check my face and find just a little bit of blood on my face.
Razor, “You should’ve kept your guard up, Havik. It is a miracle that you came out the way you have.”
Scorch, “It was also foolish of him charging in recklessly. What the hell were you thinking?!”
I reply, “It matters not. The interrogator is no longer in control. We are.”
Marlo looks around and finds the civilians are hungry and thirsty. Titan summons a pocket dimension and tells everyone to enter within so that they may feed and nourish themselves.
Marlo, Scorch, Razor, and I remain outside with some other innocent inhabitants crying and weeping at the loss of their loved ones.
Meanwhile, I look around and finds too many corpses. All of which was done by the rogue soldiers. It is as if they were food, or just lives wasted for not answering their questions. Marlo, Scorch, and Razor, telekinetically create a massive hole for a burial and telekinetically lift all the corpses laid to waste and bury them.
I look at the bodies being buried in a distraught manner as I harken back to something Khaos once told me.
“Team with me, Havik. And I promise, the salvation of our universe WILL be fulfilled.”
As I remember those words, I ask, “Only our universe?!”
The dirt is telekinetically being piled up over the corpses. Families cry and weep begging them not to bury the dead because they couldn’t bare such loss. Parents losing their minds over the death of children as they witnessed both their deaths and burials before them. I clench my fist being absolutely agitated over all this, to the point where my blue eyes look like they are of a blue burning abyss. It is as if I spent my whole life fighting to achieve peace in our universe, only to be infinite more conflicts throughout all of existence.
Meanwhile, inhabitants inside of Titan’s pocket dimension are eating and drinking well as the interrogator and the other soldier that resembles him happen to be chained up, far away from the civilians in what looks like a witch hut, created by Titan’s reality warping pocket dimension.
The chains are energy chains. Made to absorb a wielder with energy manipulation in order to render them weak and chained up.
Titan speaks to the interrogator and the other soldier that looks like him, “You have made one hell of a mess during your time in this chaotic universe.”
The Interrogator, “My son and I were just following orders.”
Titan, “What you followed was quite the coup. I have to confess; I did not think I would see soldiers going rogue once more for the rest of my life. Given that there is no more corruption in my universe.”
The Interrogator, “The only reason I believe you is because of this pocket dimensional ability you wield. I take it you are the savior of that universe then?”
Titan, “The savior of the universe was no
longer with us for the last five years. But we did hear his voice recently,
pleading my fellow soldiers and I to stay out of trouble."
The Interrogator’s Son, “A voice you say? Unlikely. You might as well have heard an illusion or someone’s actual voice to bait you into dying in this universe.”
I enter the Witch Hut that contains the pocket dimension Titan created and shout, “TITAN! LET ME IN!! I NEED TO HAVE A WORD WITH THESE BASTARDS!!!”
The Interrogator, “Sounds like your friend there is having a bad day.”
Titan, “You are about to have it even worse.”
Titan let’s me in the interrogation room where he exits. The soldiers are left to me to handle.
I walk closer to the interrogator and his son with a composed fierce look. “You know it has been five years or so since I have witnessed something this horrific. Families being slaughtered for whatever reason, children being orphaned, all being laid to waste over some imbecile’s bloody orders. Gentlemen, I do not have nearly as much patience with you as I would have five years ago, which is why I need you to tell me where your leader is and where we can find him.”
The Interrogator, “Don’t bother. You won’t reach Colonel Reeds. You will die trying.”
I reply, “A problem I intend to handle. Not you.”
The Interrogator, “Then handle this problem. You can go ahead and kill me right now; you won’t be able to change anything.”
The Son shouts, “Father, no!”
The Interrogator shouts back, “Quiet boy!!”
I reply, “Hahahahaha. So, you would rather die than obey and give the answers as they were asked before you? But wouldn’t be just as arrogant if your son’s life wasn’t on the line.
The Interrogator, “Now wait just a minu—”
I shout back, “SILENCE!”
The Interrogator shivers in fear as I channel a sword made from energy.
I tell him, “How does the fear you are experiencing right now, taste? Is it not the same fear you imposed on the victims before you not just before we have taken you down? I must confess, the only reason your son’s life is on the line now is because he too took the lives of other families. If you do not continue to start talking, then I am afraid you will experience trauma in the most brutal of forms.”
The Son tries to break out of his chains via energy manipulation, but the chains continue to absorb his power, thus rendering him weak.
The Son shouts, “You were not here when the space storm hit. You don’t know what it was like. We sacrificed everything in pursuit of order and the ability to escape from here yet fools like you just want to come in and be a hero. I lived an entire century experiencing war and the last five years were the worst of it. What do you know about war?!”
I shout back at the son out of rage, “SILENCE BOY! YOU SAID YOU FOUGHT FOR A CENTURY?! I HAVE LIVED NEARLY EIGHT CENTURIES EXPERIENCING ALL KINDS OF WAR. AND THE NASTY PAIN YOU HAVE WROUGHT UPON YOUR OWN PEOPLE IS CERTAINLY ONE OF THEM!!”
I sever off the legs of the interrogator’s son and as the son shouts out of agony, the father shouts out of trauma for the misery of his son.
The Interrogator, “You bastard! I will make you pay for that!!”
I reply, “Hold your tongue. His torment is far from over! Titan!!”
Titan uses his pocket dimensional ability to put the legs of the son back together as they heal and regenerate on him. The son screams in agony as the legs are being put back together. And thus he pants as they are finished regenerating.
I tell The Son, “You would be wise to tell me the whereabouts of your colonel."
The Son replies, “Fuck you! You won’t extract anything from me. I am a soldier, and I will die before I tell my enemies anything.”
I reply, “I admire your valor to lay your own life on the line in pursuit of protecting your superior, but this only ends one way!”
I continue butchering and stabbing the son as titan heals his wounds and regenerates his limbs over and over again as the father screams begging me to stop the assault on his own. I take some time punching The Son in the face, get Titan to spawn some snakes and bite the son, set him ablaze, electrocuting him, stabbing in the gut, stabbing his abdomen, using my second mouth to bite off his legs, slowly, painfully, until the father finally gives in and says, “ALRIGHT FINE!! STOP THE ASSAULT ON MY SON AND I WILL TELL YOU WHERE THE COLNEL IS!!!
As I cease, The Son’s limbs regenerate as he pants in agony.
The Interrogator, “The Colonel is on the Northern axis of this solar system. He is preparing to attack those who reside on Planet Citari.”
I reply, “WHAT?!”
The Interrogator, “As we speak, he may have made his move right now. No matter how fast you are prepared, he might as well have destroyed the entire planet at this point. You have failed.”
The Interrogator laughs as he makes me tighten my nerve and clench my teeth on both of my mouths.
The Interrogator, “You should not have faced
me while you have had the cha—”
I kill the interrogator’s son by decapitating his head with my energy blade.
The Interrogator, “NOOOO! MY SON!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! WHAT HAVE YOU D—”
I charge an energy beam towards the interrogator as he screams in horror and shoot at The Interrogator himself. Shocking and burning him alive as he writhes in agony until his corpse left completely lifeless.
Marlo comes in to check on me from behind and asks, “What the hell did you just do?”
I turn my back and reply, “We must make haste.”
