I tensed up, realizing this situation was just getting worse and worse. While Sebastian was distracted, I managed to rip myself out of his arms, and I took a few steps back. I breathed as calmly as I could, trying to calm the racing of my heart. Sebastian took a step towards me, but I held up my hand, stopping him.
“Mr. Walker is right.” I murmured, licking my lips as they felt dry, “this is not professional. I apologize that you had to come down there and do what you had to. I could have handled myself; I’m not some weak Omega who needs an Alpha to look after me. Now if you’ll excuse me for a moment, I have to use the restroom.”
Before anybody could say anything else, I whipped around and hurriedly walked in the direction of the bathroom that I had seen up here earlier. I rushed into the bathroom, and into a stall, locking it behind me. I sat down on the toilet seat and just sat there for a moment to calm my nerves. I pulled out my phone and saw I had a message from Kai.
From Kai 9:12 AM
How’s work going for you?! But Levi, do you remember that guy from last night that you were talking to? That really hot Alpha who was definitely giving you the “fuck me” eyes. He is the CEO of that company now that you are working for. His parents were killed in a car accident, and he came back from abroad to take over. And he is totally single from the looks of it. ;)
I rolled my eyes and I called his number.
Almost instantly, he answered the phone.
“Levi?” Kai sounded confused, “aren’t you working?”
I quickly told him everything that had happened, desperately needing to get this off of my chest. Kai was silent on the phone, patiently listening to what I was telling him. I could hear Ayden on the end of the line asking Kai what was going on.
I finally finished, and Kai squealed, making my ears ring.
“He totally wants you!” Kai giggled, sounding like a kid walking into a candy store, “Levi, I know you have a thing against Alphas, but this Alpha seems to be a total gentleman! I would totally go for it, babe!”
“What Alpha?” Ayden demanded, sounding concerned, “Levi, whose Alpha?”
“He’s a rich Alpha, Kai.” I sighed, shaking my head, “I don’t see why he would look at me like that unless he just wants sex.”
“That doesn’t sound like just sex to me.” Kai retorted, and I could practically see him rolling his eyes, “Levi, you need to stop being afraid of Alphas. I get there are some shitty ones out there, but not all of them are bad. Take Ayden for example. And that man, he’s a hunk and if that Alpha does want you, hell, I would go for it! Just take it slow and see where it goes. I’m sure you’ll find out his intentions.”
Before I could respond, I heard the bathroom door open:
“Levi?” I heard Sebastian clearly say as I heard him step into the bathroom, “are you in here?”
I quickly hung up my phone and decided I’ll message Kai later with the explanation as to why I had hung up. I rose to my feet and flushed the toilet, pretending as if I had just finished using the bathroom. I opened the stall door and Sebastian was standing there, a worried look clearly in his green eyes. I avoided his eyes and moved around him to wash my hands. I could feel the heat creeping up my neck, feeling his gaze clearly on me.
“Evan was not being serious.” Sebastian murmured, his hands clenched into fists as if he were restraining himself from something, “he knows exactly who you are. I told him you were the Omega I had met last night. He was just giving you a hard time cause most Omegas who approach me don’t do it for pure intentions. I’m so sorry, Levi, I should’ve warned you that he would be like that.”
“It’s okay.” I replied, drying my hands off, “but I do mean what I said earlier. This is my job, and I don’t want my co-workers to think that you are giving me any special attention or favoritism. I-“
Sebastian shot forward, and I yelped when he gently grabbed me by my wrists, pressing me against the wall. I froze as he pressed his body into mine, feeling how hard his body felt, and the heat that radiated off of him. But what really made me flush was the hard length I felt clearly pressed against my stomach. Sebastian reached up with one hand and gently grabbed my chin, making me look up at him.
“I’m not giving you any special attention for no reason.” He whispered softly, and I saw his eyes move to my lips, and I shivered as he gently brushed his thumb over my bottom lip.
“What’s the reason then?” I asked curiously, my eyes not leaving his.
“Promise not to run from me?” He murmured, eyes pleading with me.
“I promise,” I said softly, wondering what could make him think I would run.
