"Fritz, I don't think it's such a good idea..." Clara said, worried over her brother's mischevious actions. Fritz lit a match as a disturning grin appeared on his face, planting the small dynamite caps and firework rockets in the barracks before running back out to see how the final product would work. He took Clara by the arm, pulling her to the side and behind a bush to see the explosion but for the safety of not getting burned by the fire afterwards. She braced herself for the impact as when Fritz pushed the red button that was on his controller...
Nothing happened. But there was a rumbling sound coming from inside the barrack. The inside glew red, orange and yellow as it shook. Clara watched in fear while Fritz covered her ears as it shook and shook even more...
BAM!!!!!
The barrack exploded in a mighty rage, ashes falling from the sky as the remains of the barracks were exploded into smithereens. The flames rose high as the remains of the barracks landed on the floor; nothing was left. Clara gasped in horror while Fritz laughed it off. "Oh my goodness, that was awesome!" he exclaimed. His laugh sounded sinister and surprisingly evil; of course, not that evil that would result him into being a storybook antagonist. He got on his feet, dashing towards a nearby pine tree to see upclose the damage that has been done. Clara legged behind as she indeed saw the damage that the fireworks had done to the barrack. The inside was all just ash and dust; the outside was no exception as it was all burnt and destroyed.
Fritz laughed as he spoke, "Uncle Elias will be so upset, his reaction will be priceless." Just on cue, the Head General, Elias walked to the destroyed barrack as his face was twisted and in one word, pissed. His eyes bulged as he saw the downgraded ashes fall from the floor; armies surrounding the exploded barrack as he exclaimed, "WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO MY BARRACK?!"
This was indeed the first time Clara has heard Elia cuss so vividly. Fritz chuckled silently as he saw Elias pick up an exploded dynamite cap and a piece of wrapping paper that belonged to a confetti popper firework. He overheard Elias exclaim, "I want to know who in the right mind decided to blow up my barrack with fireworks and dynamite!" Fritz laughed as he exclaimed, "Quick, Clara! Let's ditch it before he finds out it was us!"
Fritz and Clara dashed away from the barracks, but Clara snapped a twig with her Mary-Jane shoe while following Fritz. Of course, it got the attention of the Head General; as Clara and Fritz neared the exit of the barrack camp, they were pulled back and were faced towards Elias. Fritz and Clara stared at Elias as he screamed, "Wait till I tell your parents about this, young prince & young princess!"
"Oh no, It wasn't us!" Fritz lied. Clara nodded her head as she tried to convince Elias that it wasn't them. Clara was always an honest person; someone who ever looked up to her would ask if that person was honest or not... of course Clara would always say yes or no. But for the sake of their safety, this was indeed the first time Clara lied, in hopes of not getting on her father's bad side.
Elias squinted his eyes as Fritz & Clara were scared by his looks; he gave really nasty and scary stares as he could tell who was lying and who was telling the truth. But before he could say anything, he let them go.
"Get out of my sight." He said softly before he left Fritz & Clara in the snow.
Fritz smiled as he exclaimed, "Race you home, slowpoke!" He stood up on his feet, dashing towards the castle at the end of the village. Clara exclaimed, "Fritz, come back! That's not fair!"
She ran faster to catch up with Fritz but as she ran, she overheard a fight that was going on in a bar nearby the plaza. Fritz stopped his tracks and pulled Clara back so they could witness the fight. Poor Clara, having to witness such futile fights.
She heard phrases like:
"Fuck off!"
"Watch where your going, dumb bitch!"
"That was my hip, asshole!"
"Drunk bitch!"
While Fritz was distracted, Clara dashed. She didn't want to hear anymore of the fight, but at the same time, she wants to win the race. "Beat you home, slowpoke!" she exclaimed. Fritz realized after 3 seconds of zoning out; he ran as fast as he can, but alas, Clara arrived back at the front of the palace. She laughed as she exclaimed, "I won!"
"Not fair!" Fritz exclaimed. Before Clara could boast him even more, the door opened. Their older sister, Louise, were waiting impatiently. "About time you showed up. You two best get ready, the guests will be here. Father would also like to chat with the both of you." Louise ordered.
