"Yes miss Polly......" I asked with drowsy eyes and I was half asleep.

"Come with me," she said and turns back to the hallway. I closed the door slowly not waking up Belle. I caught up with miss Polly and followed her. I was trembling like crazy. Did she find out about me and Belle eavesdropping on their conversation, or maybe the little conversation me and the Duke had? Is it the last time I'm staying here? Various thoughts start to flow through my mind. I didn't want this to happen. we came to miss Polly's office

and went inside. she sat on her chair and glared at me. Oh my god! I can't believe this is happening right now.

"Do you have any idea why I called you, Lucy?" She asked me with a suspicious face.

"No, mam." I shuttered.

"I have something really important to tell you. I have no idea how this happened but I want to know your opinion about it." By the way she told it, I knew it was something deadly serious. 

"A family is willing to take you, Lucy!" 

I was stunned. WHAT! a family....... this isn't happening. I couldn't figure out what to say. But the most questionable thing was, I didn't feel happy about the news. I'm supposed to be happy right now, the one who wanted a family the most is now being unhappy. I stayed silent until miss Polly started to talk.

"I must say, that this family isn't like any other ordinary family. It is far beyond that. You are so lucky to have a family like this. I'm hundred percent sure that you aren't going to regret this. You are going to Cloverfield Mansion........."

"WHATTTT!!....... there is something wrong here, miss Polly. this can't be happening. Me.......going to... Cloverfield Mansion......This isn't what I want. And I'm supposed to be happy... but I'm not, I don't know why, And also how I'm supposed to live there without knowing anything." I was literally yelling.

"I can't do anything right now Lucy. you got to accept it whether it's bad or not. I don't know how they got the information about you but maybe it's all for good." 

"And what about the thing you said a few minutes ago...... You said that you want to know my opinion about It. and my opinion is NO!" I said waiting for a reply from her. 

"Get ready...... they are expecting you tomorrow. a carriage will come to get you." She said and went back to her work. 

"But miss Polly, please......" she cut me off.

"I got work to do Lucy....... you go and get some rest." Tears fell from my eyes. I ran to the room and lay on the bed cuddling under the blanket. What if they are evil? what if they didn't love me like a true parent? I can't do it. I don't want a luxurious life. I just want to live a normal life. I cried for hours until I fall asleep. But one thing is for sure, that this is the last night I'm going to spend here.
