[Host, as this is related to the Clinic’s image. I will advise you on how to treat the piglets]
Han calmed down and his tensed body eased. ‘What do you need me to do?’, he questioned with unknown determination appearing in his eyes. His demeanor changed and he focused on the current task.
Ceredic was surprised sensing the change in the physician. A while ago he saw him just staring at the piglets nervously but now It looks like that nervousness vanished and he was going to start the treatment.
Even though Han was still a bit nervous he trusted the instructions given by Sophie. Gulping nervously a white medical bag appeared in plain sight. Surrounding people were dumbfounded even Han was…but he didn’t have time to react to that and opened the bag. It contained basic supplies such as scalpels, gauze, etc.
Noticing the casualness the physician had when a bag suddenly appeared beside him, the people were shocked, was the physician a mage himself? This made them even more curious about the mysterious Physician.
[Each of the piglets has a ruptured vein either in its stomach or chest. The ones with the chest ruptured veins are in extreme danger since there might be chances it will affect the lungs or heart. I recommend you deal with them first. I will point out which one has a ruptured vein in the chest or stomach for you]
Han nodded and proceeded to use his scalpel to make an extremely small incision on the piglets. The smaller the incision the better but he should at least be able to see the vein. He prepared himself and Sophie briefed him if the piglet had a ruptured vein in the stomach or the chest.
Han opened up the first piglet with a ruptured vein in the stomach. Droplets of blood oozed out of the incision.
“Eeeek!”, yelled the surrounding people witnessing the sight. The sight of a human opening up an animal wasn’t for the faint-hearted. They had never seen anything like this they expected the physician to have a spell or some other heaven-defying technique to treat the piglet, but they didn’t think the physician would do something this horrifying.
Some had their eyes closed at the sight and some even left the line thinking they couldn’t risk being treated by such a crazy physician. Though a bearded individual stared at the sight grinning, and awe apparent on his face. The people even closed their noses as a foul smell was in the air.
Medical schools usually have students practicing on animals. Han had experienced suturing animal veins which is why he was thankful the condition of the piglets wasn’t something he couldn’t cure. The reason why he could effortlessly stitch the ruptured veins in the piglets. The pig veins normally had a width of 4.5mm. These piglets' veins had even smaller widths since they were still young.
Just like this Han one by one treated the ruptured veins of the piglets. The locals who had their eyes closed couldn’t bare the brutal sight but now they were in awe of Han’s skills. They wondered how he could stitch together the tiny veins.

Han had to admit these small veins pushed him a bit since he was a bit rusty. He smiled brightly it’s been a while since he got to feel the same pressure he used to feel when he was an intern in the OR. He closed the incision of the last piglet and put down the scalpel wiping the blood off his hands. He looked up to find people staring at him. He had forgotten that he was in public. He scratched his head awkwardly. ‘I was too focused’, he thought chuckling.
Ceredic gritted his teeth frustrated with the situation. He couldn’t believe the low-life physician had pulled this off. He stood up feeling a piercing pain in his knees though he almost dropped to the ground.
Han noticed the struggle the man was having just getting up from the floor. “Would you like me to look at your knees”, he offered as a physician. He had seen in the hospital how much struggle obese people had with their weight.
This angered the raccoon even more, he couldn’t even bare to look at the damn physician. All of his plans had been ruined just because of his skills. He stomped his heavy leg on the floor and walked away cursing with his chest puffed out. A few people snickered at the sight and wondered why the farmer reacted like that when the physician saved the piglets.
As Ceredic left for his camp he felt like he was forgetting something, but he didn’t have the energy to go back there and find out. He was just too lazy; he couldn’t wait to return to the tent and relax. He bit his nails anxiously he didn’t know what the duke would think of this outcome. Maybe…he didn’t have to inform the duke and just come up with another plan…
Ceredic was in thought as he left the premises. Though he failed to notice the shadow lurking behind him…
“Now that I think about it, did he even look like a farmer?”
“Yeah, he didn’t even have a body that farmers normally have”
The people discussed the topic amongst themselves.
While a werewolf stood there still conflicted. ‘Did the bastard…forget me?’, he thought flabbergasted. ‘Am I free’, he wondered, how could it be this easy, he didn’t know if he was truly free, he looked at the anklets that were binding him and scoffed. ‘The key is with the bastard…though this doesn’t matter as much’, he thought. He didn’t know what to feel, should he feel abandoned by the bastard or be relieved that he got away? Tears streamed down his cheeks, realizing he was finally free. Memories of him getting beat in the cell and getting captured as a slave flashed in his mind. He whimpered slightly and wiped away his tears. He looked around with his puffy yellow eyes and locked his sight on the 5 piglets.
“Whose are these? Did anyone come with that person?”, asked Han as he held the 5 piglets cluelessly. He didn’t know what to do with them after the owner just left like that.
“I-I came with the ba-person”, said a werewolf bringing all the attention to him. He felt the gazes and how the locals kept muttering about him. He was used to this and blankly ignored it. He even saw the stern gaze he was receiving from the physician. He clenched his hands slightly.
‘Woah’, wondered Han with sparkles in his eyes. He couldn’t believe he was seeing an actual Werewolf for the first time. He was truly in a fantasy world.
