Hm, no i would not say that i think that Yar and Ba are alike, i would more say that they are opposed of eatch other in a way. Ba is the god here Yar is the mortal, but it almost is like its the other way around, i don't know maybe this just gonna sound stupid but.. Yar is very powerful, the way he seams to see himself is like a god. Its like hes way or no way. He knows whats best and it dosn't matter what other people think. He rules hes land with an iron fist. He seams to see himself above everyone else, almost like you would use to describe a god. Ba feel more "mortal" or how to put it. He got hes own insecurites and problems. He is actually a very kind and carrying soul, but also lonley and a bit damaged. All the things that hes been going through makes him more human. All he wants is to be loved for who he is, someone who will understand and accept him just the way he is with all ups and downs. He is open to learn more about the humans and to understand the world better, even if it took a little time at first he now really listen and learning. He is willing to change and try new things. I feel like you can relate more to Ba then you can to Yar. Ba wants love while Yar wants power. I might be totally wrong here, but thats how i see the question ❤️
