SURPRIZE UPDATE!! I am slooowly trying out shorter, weekly updates again. And if I can't make it for one friday, I'll just let you know :) For Ruth's monologue I also channeled my entire frustration of being trapped in a system that *highly incentivizes* you to produce and generate money with the only way of escaping is dropping dead. Humans are meant to just chill. Aren't we?
We should only be working like three days a week for like four hours. Office culture is dead and everyone should be house, fed, and at least content with life. It's 2023 and it really really shouldn't be like this. We have most of the technology of Star Trek but none of the humanity. 🙃
Vince's biggest wish is to become a world famous opera singer - just like Zazu. Their fate seems magically interwoven, and a unique friendship flourishes. But as Vince's affection grows, he finds, that his idol is not who he seemed to be; his otherworldly voice bears a secret darker than what Vince could have imagined.
A slow burner set around 1900. Alot of feels, alot of AU exploration. Enjoy!
