After awakening and testing the second skill, Carlsas and Morsito returned home, after fixing the meal that Coco West had prepared long ago, Carlsas went back to his room to start preparing for the life and death battle three days later.
From the age of six to ten, from the awakening of the first skill to the completion of the test of the second skill now, what Carlsas had learned from following his own father during these four years, no one knew, and even Carlsas didn't know whether or not he would be able to survive the battle three days later.
Yes, a true battle of life and death!
In this battle, there was no element of practicing, there was only life and death. And this happened to be the way the Death Chanting clan practiced.
The training between life and death is the most decisive and effective.
Carlsas was quietly packing in his room, so naturally he couldn't hear the conversation between Morcedo and Cocci.
"Isn't it too early to have Carlsas undergo an experience in three days?" Dissatisfaction spewed out from Cocosi's tone.
"It won't be? When I first awakened my second skill, I went straight to the test the next day." Molcido replied with a smile, "Even if my son's degree of talent is not as good as mine, but after all, it makes our son, three days, it's enough." Molcido didn't forget to praise himself even at this moment.
"Hmph, when speaking, have you ever considered the specific situation?" Morsedo's words made Coco West even angrier, "Your first skill, which deals huge damage, the second skill is stun, and the cooldown between the two skills is stuck extremely skillfully, it can even be said that as long as one calculates the time and the order in which the skills are released, is it hard to kill someone who has been suppressed by the cage for so long?"
"But what about Karthas? The first skill is very strong, but it requires extremely accurate judgment of the enemy's positioning. And his second skill is just a damage boost, not even a control skill, which means that for every output he has, the enemy can also output on him, and even if the opponent has a control skill, Carlsas has no power to fight back at all."
When these analyses were said, even Molcido didn't engage in a rebuttal, because what Cocci said was the truth, not a single bit of it was false.
Molcido could only remain silent.
These analyses said out from the side also showed that Cocci was not an ordinary woman.
"But it's tradition, I don't want it either." Saying this, Molcido also looked pained.
"Tradition, just because of this tradition, the huge Death Chanting clan is just our family. Outsiders don't know about it, but aren't you and I clear about it? And Carlsas's sister is also because of this tradition ...... "The more Cocci said, the more agitated she became.
"Stop it!" Morsedo roared violently, and his expression was agonized as he kept grabbing his hair, "Tradition cannot be disobeyed." After saying these words, Molcido also stopped talking, then walked out of the house and went somewhere.
The corners of Cocosi's mouth lifted slightly as she watched Molcido go out. Obviously Cocci's ultimate goal in arguing with Morsido just now was obviously not to make Morsido change his mind, but merely to have Morsido leave.
After seeing Molcido disappear from view, and then using her True Eyes to do some scouting to make sure that she wouldn't be discovered by Molcido, Cocci walked into Carlsbad's room.
"Carlsbad," Walking into the room, Cocci looked at Carlsbad, who was packing up his things, and softly shouted.
"Mother? What's wrong?" Karthas turned his head to find it was his mother.
"Confident about the life and death battle in three days?" Cocci asked with a smile.
"Does it seem prideful for me to say confident?" Karthas tilted his head to look at Cocci.
"It's good to have confidence, how can you be proud? Having confidence that means you can survive." Cocci said with a smile as she silenced Karthas' head.
"Is death scary?" Carlsas suddenly asked this.
"Why do you ask?" Coccy was puzzled.
"Because from what I've learned, mother, judging by the fact that you're a little nervous right now, is it because I might die in three days?" Karthas stated his feelings and guesses quite sincerely.
"Death? Then you'll understand if you experience it." Cocci said gently.
After saying those words, Cocosi's expression just changed, there was gentle and watery instantly became hideous and terrifying, Cocosi's hands waved, Cocosi's three skills rushed towards Calcas in a certain order.
That determined look, that relentless skills all release, that terrifying aura, everything is highlighting that Coco West is not joking.
Of course the most important thing was Coco West's killing intent that was as stern as the cold wind!
All of this let Carlsas know that this was by no means a joke.
Carlsas stood frozen in place, seemingly unable to see and think why his mother would suddenly flip out.
That gentle, watery mother.
The best mother in the whole world.
The mother who had raised him for ten years.
Why would she change her face in an instant?
Why did she want to kill herself?
Carlsas didn't understand, so he didn't have the means to react, perhaps, even if Carlsas wanted to react, he couldn't.
Because Carlsbad and Coco West between a chain appeared, this chain tightly wrapped around Carlsbad, so that Carlsbad's life value fell not much, but most importantly, so that Carlsbad at this moment there is no way to make any movements and behavior, can only watch Coco West's skills want to smash over.
......
Morcedo left his home and went nowhere else, coming to the place where Karthas had tested his first skill in the first place, to the cage of the creature Karthas was going to fight in three days to be exact.
Reaching out and touching the cage, a light came on inside the cage and the creature that Carlsas had startled in the first place, the one that had made Carlsas sit on the ground in shock with a roar, began to growl.
"Roar."
But the soul-shattering roar had no effect on Morsedo, there was no race on this continent that dared to claim to know more about souls than the Death Chanting Ones, or there were flagging ones that did, but never surpassed them, ever.
It is death that the Death Chanting Ones offer up, and after death comes the soul.
Morcedo stepped inside the cage and looked at the creature in front of him, not knowing when he had put it inside the cage, and scrutinized it.
Perhaps the first and only time this creature had ever been observed in such a manner by Morsidor as well, and I'm sure he wouldn't have had such a privilege if he hadn't been an opponent of Karthas three days later.
The creature was covered in red skin, with small eyes, and looked like it had been a puppy, a red puppy.
But the growl just now proved that this was no harmless puppy.
Morcedo slowly walked forward, the red puppy like creature with a menacing face, but Morcedo didn't even blink.
Stepping forward, he stretched out a hand and slowly pressed it against the red puppy creature's forehead, not knowing what he was doing. A few moments later, a lot of items fell off of the red puppy creature, scattered and sparsely scattered all over the place.
Upon closer inspection, it was clearly some equipment!
The Death Choristers, the race that symbolizes death on the continent of Valoran, the pool of rebirth where newborns are birthed, gave birth to a newborn called Karthas. There has always been a saying circulating on the Valoran Road that only the most pinnacle of characters are allowed to enter a place called Summoner's Canyon. There, there were exclusive skins that symbolized glory! There, there were equipment that could make one more powerful! There, there were more unimaginable skills to use! There, there is an even more pinnacle of the Desperate Athletic Arena!
