Yang Liu is surprised to see the message and decides to wait until she gets home to reply.

Once home, Butler Ling helps the driver carry all the bags inside, but upon entering, he notices Yang Liu is very distracted today. He instructs the maid to put away the madame's things and approaches her.

Butler Ling says, "Madame, is something troubling you?"

Yang Liu returns to her senses and wonders if she should tell the butler the truth. She looks at his face and sees he is genuinely concerned about her.

Taking a deep breath, Yang Liu speaks honestly, "It's just that my parents asked if I could have dinner with them today." She scratches her head and decides to spill everything at once, "And my mother asked if I could bring my husband and Han Wei with me."

Butler Ling smiles and says, "Madame, I think you should talk to your husband about this."

Yang Liu worries and thinks, "But will he help me? After all, this isn't a real marriage. Not to mention I'm afraid of how I'll behave in front of the original Yang Liu's parents."

Butler Ling sighs, seeing his madame silent, and insists, "Madame, you should talk to the master; he'll surely understand."

Yang Liu looks at him and nods.

She takes her phone from her purse and sends the following message to Han Chen.

To Han Chen:

"My parents invited us for dinner at their house tonight. Is that okay with you?"

Yang Liu sends the message and feels relieved. But as she puts her phone away, it immediately vibrates.

Yang Liu takes a deep breath and checks the message.

From Han Chen:

"I'm a bit busy today and not sure when I'll finish, but you can take Han Wei with you, and I'll drop by later to meet your parents. Is that okay with you?"

Yang Liu starts jumping for joy in front of Butler Ling and immediately replies to Han Chen, "That's fine."

Then she hugs Butler Ling, saying, "Thank you so much, you've helped me a lot."

Butler Ling feels embarrassed but replies, "You're welcome, madame; it's my job."

Yang Liu goes upstairs feeling happy and heads to her room to respond to her supposed mother and choose an outfit.

Meanwhile, Secretary Jian enters his boss's office, noticing him smiling at his phone.

Secretary Jian adjusts his glasses and thinks, "Why does it seem like the boss smiles more since he got married?" He shakes his head and coughs to get his boss's attention.

Han Chen hears the noise, looks up, coughs to hide his embarrassment, and puts his phone in his pocket. He looks at Secretary Jian and jokingly says, "You should take some medicine since you're coughing."

Secretary Jian scratches his head, embarrassed.

Han Chen suddenly becomes serious again and says, "Let's speed up the work; I need to leave early today."

Secretary Jian nods to indicate he understands, then shouts loudly, "What? You're leaving early today?"

Han Chen just looks at Jian, and under his gaze, Secretary Jian swallows hard and says, "I understand; I'll organize everything, sir."

Secretary Jian leaves the office feeling terrified and gets back to work.
