We regrouped, and Alex, Abel, and Aiden looked as if they had seen a ghost. Their faces were as pale as sheets. Alex then uttered that he had seen a shadowy figure with a sinister smile. Exhausted and terrified, we tried to contact the police, but the network was down. A lot of strange occurrences were taking place. We decided to leave the site immediately.
We got into the car, and our journey back was going smoothly. All of us were terrified. My mind was racing with all sorts of thoughts. As we were in the middle of the woods, our car suddenly stalled for no apparent reason. Both cars broke down, which was a strange and eerie sight. It almost felt as if the world itself was conspiring to keep us there.
Alex and Oliver went to check the car and try to restart it while Leo held me tightly. They returned, sighing.
Oliver: "Damn it! We have to find shelter for the night. The engine looks damaged, and a storm seems to be approaching."
We got out of the cars and hurried into the forest.
"Stay close," I insisted. "The forest is very dense"
