The moon was full and bright. It’s light lit up the castle, reflecting off any and every surface. Creeping into every crack and crevice. The light bled from the moon as if it were crying.
I looked up at the sky, the moon’s sharp rays almost blinding me. The shadow of my dear sister looked bad at me, hauntingly. I wanted to beg for her forgiveness, tell her how much I missed her, but I just stared up at her hollow, lifeless shadow.
“I can’t let this distract me” I muttered. “Hell I’m going to be crowned Queen tomorrow for Equestria’s sake!” “I can’t have these ‘distractions’ getting in my way.”
I rose my head a final time to face the moon, as a tear drop fell from my eye. I then turned around, and returned to my quarters.
The moon was much larger and fuller than ever seen before. Her moonlight bled into every building and blade of grass it was above. The moon was sad this night. She was cut out. She was betrayed. She was ready to seek revenge.
