“Excuse me! Out of my way!”
A young unicorn tore her way down the paths leading to the Equestrian Castle.
“Ah! So sorry!”
She bumped and bruised many other ponies as she quickly stumbled and galloped through. A small, stumpy dragon followed quickly behind her, stumbling and tripping with every step.
“ATLAS!! COULD YOU SLOW DOWN?” Yelled the stumpy dragon.
“SORRY SARAM! NO CAN DO!” Atlas hollered back.
“WHY ARE YOU RUNNING SO FAST ANYWAYS?” Saram asked trying to keep up.
“THE QUEEN HAS CALLED UPON ME! I CAN’T BE LATE! SHE DOESN'T TOLERATE TARDINESS!” Atlas answered, still keeping her fast pace.
Atlas continued her thunderous gallop down the paths, leaving a dusty wake as she went. Saram was falling behind, his little legs unable to keep up. They were nearing the castle, the banners were beginning to be shown on the lampposts more and more often. But I hear you, dear reader, ask, who is this Atlas?
Atlas is a unicorn who studies at Dawn Celeste’s Magic Academy. Only the best of the best get into the Academy. Atlas, or more formally, Atlas Sparkle is an extremely talented and gifted unicorn. She was performing spells that took others years to perfect when she was simply a child. Dawn Celeste took great interest in her and Atlas soon became her star pupil! Atlas began doing her studies independently the day she was able to hatch a dragon egg. That’s how her best friend, Saram, came into this world. Though an incredible achievement and the one to have gained her independent study privileges, Atlas had earned her cutie mark long ago, after performing an extremely intricate and intense spell few were able to conjure. Overall, a spectacle of a pony! She was on her way to becoming one of the greatest sorcerers in all of Equestria. And this meeting with Queen Dawn Celeste could possibly determine if Atlas gets to move onto the most difficult, grueling, and gruesome spells. The spells that have only ever been preformed by Star Swirl the Great. One of the greatest and most amazing sorcerers to ever live.
“SARAM! COME ON! JUST A LITTLE BIT MORE TO GO!”
Saram was barely keeping it together. He looked as if he was going to pass out. His little legs couldn’t carry him much longer.
“Alright. We’re here. You wait outside Saram!”
“Wait. If I was going to wait outside this whole time, then why-“
“Hush now. She’s about to call me inside!”
