‎I was devouring my cupcakes like the glutton that I was when she took one from my plate,ate it and took my coffee and took a gulp.

‎

‎"Hey,my food. Look who decided to eat now. I thought you were only hungry for Branson ."I said mocking at her and she slapped my shoulder.

‎

‎"Aww,"I feigned the expression which she saw through me and rolled her eyes. She was about to speak when she saw someone and signaled me to look too. I turned and saw Leonard eating alone at a corner in the cafeteria.

‎

‎"Has he sent you the place and time?"Cas asked.

‎

‎"No "I said as I continued starring at him at a distance.

‎

‎"Stop starring at me like that before someone notices you."She warned and I reluctantly removed my gaze from him and faced her.

‎

‎"Do you think he has forgotten or he just said that to look like he cared but didn't?"I asked her anxiously.

‎

‎"Man,chillax. He hasn't forgotten and I'm sure he would fulfill what he said. Just be patient and optimistic"she advised.

‎

‎"Yeah you maybe right"I said.

‎

‎"Of course I am."She defended.

‎

‎"Can we wait till he is done before we leave?I want to admire his features more. It is really rare to get a time like this"I explained.

‎

‎"OMG,it's giving desperate Chris. I hear you"she said in bewilderment and I felt embarrassed.

‎

‎He continued to eat and his every movement aroused me . Oh my goodness,I wanted this man really bad .

‎

‎"Jeez,what's going on in that dirty mind of yours?"Carissa asked and I was shocked.How did she know what I was thinking?

‎

‎"Why do you ask that?" I asked her.

‎

‎"You were just licking and biting your lips a while ago"She explained which made me smile in embarrassment.

‎

‎"I had a sex dream about him again days ago" I muttered and her face lit in both bewilderment and joy.

‎

‎"Really and you didn't tell me. " She said.

‎

‎"But grandpa interrupted before we could have sex."I said and she laughed.

‎

‎"That serves you right for what you did to me this morning."she teased and I rolled my eyes.I continued to watch Leonard as he ate. I really found delight in doing  that.

‎

‎It seemed he noticed someone was starring at him as he raised his head and our eyes met. My heart jumped once I realized I was caught red handed . I quickly averted my gaze from his.

‎

‎"Let's go now. "I quickly and desperately  said to Cas who seemed to be in her own world.

‎

‎"What!now?but he hasn't finished"she said looking confused but stood up once I did and with that,we rushed outside exiting the cafeteria.

‎

‎"Now hold up.Why that abrupt change of plans?what happened back there?"she asked looking worried.

‎

‎"Our eyes met.He caught me starring at him. Now he will know. Why was I so careless?"I said very anxiously.

‎

‎"That's it? And you are worried like this? He would just think you were looking at something and your eyes coincidentally met his ."she explained poorly. If she was trying to calm me down,this wasn't helping at all.

‎

‎"What are you even saying?It doesn't make sense"I said.

‎

‎She heaved a sigh.

‎

‎"Look,you have fallen in love with him for five years now without you making a single move on him. I think your closeness is now okay for you to move to the next step of your pursuit for him. If you're too a chicken not to confess your feelings to him,how about you start giving him signs that you're into him and open for a relationship? If he is into you also,he will approach you if he's not a chicken like you but if not,I think you would have to move on"She explained and I kinda felt she was right as it made a lot of sense.

‎"So let him think of you however he will and start giving him signs. "she finished and I nodded.

‎

‎I think it was time to do so because it has been five years since I fell in love and nothing was showing that he had feelings for me.Grandpa really was right that I actually was waiting not being patient.

‎

‎"Okay if you say so,how am I going to give him signs then?"I asked.

‎

‎"Hey don't ask me that question,don't you watch boy love drama,figure something out yourself,at least I brought up the idea.It's your situation,not mine."She said.

‎

‎"Wait I have an idea,how about this evening,when you guys go for your date ,you ask him if he has a girlfriend or boyfriend. Add boyfriend so he would know you aren't homophobic and have an opened mind. If he says no,then you start flirting with him. Hope you can do that?"she asked and I nodded.

‎

‎"What if he says he has a girlfriend?"I asked.

‎

‎"Well then you have to decide,whether to give up there or be shameless and continue with the plan. I have heard of straight men who can become bent. "She said and I laughed.

‎

‎"I hope he doesn't though because I can't do that.I'm not a boyfriend snatcher."I explained.

‎

‎"Yeah right.Then let's hope for him to say no" she said and I silently prayed which she noticed and rolled her eyes.

‎

‎"Dr.Stones,we need you .There is a new surgery case" Cas's assistant said to her.

‎

‎"Duty calls,we will continue this later"she said to me and I nodded and watched her walk with her assistant who for some reason,was starring at me nonstop.

‎

‎I headed back to my office and I realized the cleaner was already done. I then settled down and started to revise for IHC.

‎

‎It had been almost half an hour and I couldn't concentrate. My mind was only thinking about Leonard right now and how I was going to put this new plan into action. Was it even going to work?I hope so. I shook my head and decided to focus on the IHC now. Cas would tell me more about this plan that she devised.

‎

‎Heaving a sigh,I indulged myself into studying. After another thirty minutes,my phone rang. There was a notification and  I quickly checked hoping it was what I thought it was and I was right. It was from Leonard indeed and he had sent me the time and place at which we were meeting. Seven p.m and at Coffee street,well I didn't know that place very well but my GPS was always there to help. My heart started to race as I starred at the message.He didn't forget and he didn't say it out of courtesy after all. Now all I had to do was stick to the plan and hope all went my way.

‎

‎I closed the book as I realized even though my mind decided to study,my heart wouldn't allow it so I decided to browse on the internet on how to flirt. I wrote some notes down and then watched some boy love drama to give me a better understanding of what I was going to do.This plan had to go as smoothly as it can. There was no room for errors. I only had one shot at this.

‎

‎Hours passed as I engrossed myself into the series I was watching. I didn't realize I had watch all ten episodes until it finally ended . The couple had a wonderful ending and  I hope that would be like that for Leonard and I. I was about to watch another series when my phone alarm rang for grandpa's check up. It was one already one? Time really went fast today.

‎

‎I called Dina and asked if my grandpa had arrived.

‎

‎"No he hasn't"she answered.

‎

‎"Okay thanks"I said and decided to wait a few minutes,maybe he was on his way but     twenty minutes passed and I was then assured that he had forgotten about the appointment. Great job grandpa.

‎

‎I called and started to talk once the call went through.

‎

‎"Grandpa,where are you? It's time for your appointment. Did you forget again?"I scolded.

‎

‎"Sorry,Yes I did,can you come and pick me? My friend's car broke down on the way ."He explained.

‎

‎"Okay I'm on my way.Text me the address." I said standing up and getting out of my office heading to the parking lot.

‎

‎Just as I got out of the elevator, I bumped into Dr.Brown,the one who took care of my grandpa's appointments.

‎

‎"I was coming to you Dr.Light,where is your grandpa?"she asked.

‎

‎"Sorry,his car broke down on the way so I'm going to bring him"I answered.

‎

‎"Okay then I'm waiting.Please do so to bring him early,I can't squeeze him again into another time if he doesn't show up today"she said.

‎

‎"I understand"I said and she nodded and with that I headed to the parking lot ,started the car and headed to the address he had texted me.
