Kijotsu walked along the empty train platform, his gray eyes staring at the cracked tiles. The wind tugged at his white hair, and the silence around him was almost suffocating. Every step echoed in the distance, reminding him how alone he really was.
*Why does no one care about me?* he thought, clenching his fists. *Even my parents… they don’t see me.*
Suddenly, something glinted in the sunlight. A small, brilliant diamond lay half-buried between the cracks. Kijotsu knelt and reached for it. The moment his fingers touched the stone, a blinding light enveloped him.
When he opened his eyes, he was no longer on the platform. A bustling city surrounded him, but the citizens stared in shock, whispers spreading like fire. His heart raced as confusion took over.
A tall figure approached, hair red as flames and a massive sword resting on his shoulder.
- “Who are you?” the man asked, voice calm but firm.
- “I… I don’t know… Where am I?” Kijotsu stammered.
The man’s gaze softened, but his eyes remained sharp.
- “You were brought here because a spirit has entered your heart. Everyone who comes here carries one. And you… your spirit is strong.”
Kijotsu’s mind raced. *The diamond… it must be the cause…*
As the city continued to stare at him in disbelief, he realized that his life had just changed forever.
