Maeve quickly crawled out of the crater that had been caused by the fourth loop during Clive and Catherina's battle. She ran back toward where she had boarded her boat and paid for a trip back to the Ring Continent.

The Narrator

Jeez...This story is going quite fast, isn't it...? Three different stories of three different people in just 38,212 words... Man... It's so good to finally be able to speak freely now... I don't have to hide my commentary anymore... I can just be my good old self... Yeah...I've been here this whole time... Even before the Nathan Ashcroft story... I just never wrote down about them before... The past humans were just so boring...and before you even ask...yes, the Red Gem is something I put on earth... I wanted to spice things up a little bit... This show was too boring for me. So yes, in a way...everything happened just to please me. Call me evil if you wish... Not that I care. I don't care about anything; I'm a god after all. Actually...there is one thing I care about...I mean...I could just spoil you on the end of the book right now if I wanted... I'm the one writing it after all... I'm an all-seeing God, aren't I...and yet. I do not wish to do such an awful thing. I want you to unravel the mysteries as they happen... I wonder if anyone figured out the twist that I existed before I revealed myself to you... I do wonder that... It would be amazing... On another note...This boat trip, shall we say that Maeve is on right now, should take about a good thirty minutes...

So yeah...you're stuck with my commentary for the time being... Don't worry... The wait will be worth it... I assure you.

So what shall we talk about now, hm? I mean... I know I'm technically speaking to myself... But I'm sure there's something I could write to you about... How about I explain some concepts, huh? That could be fun, right? To pass time, I mean.

I won't have the time to explain it all to you, of course... So what about I focus on the things that I believe you, the reader, will have the most questions about?

What exactly is a Dargelionna?

A Dargelionna is something that an infected individual obtains after getting very, very close to death. It is a form of their powers taking shape. It is also their will. If the will of the person changes, so will the Dargelionna. For example, Clive managed to evolve his Dargelionna in Chapter Sixteen. This happened because at that single moment his goal changed. It wasn't just stopping his sister. It was about stopping his sister because he truly believed that she was the reason that Sylvia was dead.

Hm... I wonder what other concept I could explain next... Maeve is going to arrive at her location soon after all... Perhaps I should simply just not explain more and simply let all of you theorize, hm? That could be funny... I would just be up there... Watching you all try and understand what the little bits of this story mean... Yeah, I'm definitely going to do that...

Oh, one last thing...What about I put myself as the cover of the book, hm? That would be a good way to reveal what I look like from the very start... Yeah...Definitely... Anyways... Back to your good old Maeve now... I won't disrupt that much...

Maeve Ardenfall

She quickly got off the boat and rushed toward the taxis and caught one in the direction of the main city. She had one goal in mind—wait, for God's sake, are you kidding me? Is she really just giving me more free time to talk again? Ugh, oh my god, this bitch. Whatever. The taxi drive was fifteen minutes. Nothing interesting happened during it. Bla bla bla. Who cares? This is my story.

The taxi arrived right in front of a huge mansion. The president of the Ring continent lived there. She quickly got out of the taxi and ran up to the front door and knocked on it. The guards quickly came out of the door and gripped her by the arms before tossing her inside roughly. Seems like the government weren't those kinds of people, huh?

The president walked up to her and gripped her by the chin, ordering her to inform him of why the hell she was knocking on his door in the middle of the day. She quickly explained everything that she had seen from the gem, which made him quirk an eyebrow... He smiled gently and escorted her out of his house and made her stand on a stage in the middle of the city. People quickly surrounded the place as they got curious about what the hell was even happening.

Luka, Dan, and Leo were there in the crowd.

Maeve was happy for a moment. The president was actually going to let her tell the whole continent of her findings?! This was so nice of him! However, everything fell down as soon as she saw a truck full of rocks coming to a stop right in front of the crowd. Her eyes widened in confusion before looking over at the president, who had a huge smile on his face.

The president pushed her gently, telling her to inform the world of her findings... Which she did not refuse to do. She told them about the different loops...about who Clive and Catherina truly were and about the fourth-dimensional being that watched over them... Oh...she mentioned me... How kind... The public eyes widened in disbelief. They did not believe her. None of them did... Well, a few of them did... Leo Dan and Luka sure did.

Immediately sensing what was about to happen to Maeve, Dan rushed toward the huge stage, trying to get Maeve out of there. But it led to nothing. A gunshot rang out. The crowd froze. Luka's and Leo's eyes widened, and so did Maeve's. But before Maeve could even panic or anything...a rock was thrown. Then another and another. So on and so on. The crowd screamed in cheers that they were killing a heretic. Someone who was against the truth of this world.

Maeve collapsed to the ground after the first three rocks... But they never stopped. They kept on throwing the rocks until the back of the car was empty... It took them five whole hours to stop. Her face was unrecognizable... No doubt. She was dead. Leo and Luka looked at each other in fear of what the world was becoming before walking away from the scene... They clearly wanted some kind of revenge... They just witnessed two of their friends dying in the span of a minute...

Luka

He and Leo gathered the few people who seemed to believe what Maeve had just told them inside of an empty barn. Five people... That's it... Their goal was more than clear now. They were going to overthrow the government. No matter what. This was definitely going to be a losing battle... So Luka had a failsafe... He walked up to the back of the barn and drew a bomb. A huge bomb.

One that would destroy the world if he died.

Reminder, his power is all about imagination and that ink I mentioned in chapter 23.

If they were not able to overthrow the government...then no one should live. Luka took his revenge to the extreme. But first, they had to storm the president's mansion and kill him.
