She was trapped within her own body, and no matter how much she would run and no matter how much she would try to scream, no matter what she did, the screams grew more and more louder by the second. It drove her crazy, before she tore herself apart, digging her nails into her own skin, ripping her flesh off, to be freed from the pain. Where did it lead her to? The sights in front of her changed when she tormented herself, to which her own image took her breath away.
The statue was the spitting image of her, crying tears of blood. The sculpted piece of art that melted in the blood that seeped out of her nails, her eyes, her lips. She was made of rock and cement, yet her body bled. The people knelt and bowed in front of the statue, crying, but the statue just bled, as if it were punishing them.
“Forgive us for our sins, bless us with your mercy”
They spoke and they spoke, but there was no response. With a light so scorching, it blinded her eyes, and the last of what she could see was the people turning into skeletons, bones, to ashes, before she felt her body heating up to explode once more, waking her up.
She groaned, from the severe pain that stung her head. Her eyes were barely open, but the very fibers of her green pigmented iris ached so much, she could barely open them. Her ears were still ringing from the cries of the people, but it wasn't as intense as the sudden pressure that she felt all over body. The more she tried to reminisce through the dream as though twas a memory, the more her back, her spine felt. as though rocks rested on her shoulders, she couldn't even dare to straighten herself up. as though chains were dangling from her collar bones, as though people were pulling her ribs from within. Her heart kept pounding faster by the second, all until her phone rang.
gone. it was all gone. the headache, the pain, the pressure, the weight, it all vanished away. It all vanished away like it was never there, and the bell ringing snapped her to her senses, to pick it up, only to hear the loud yell of her managing director.
"YOU'RE LATE, WHERE ARE YOU?? THE SHOOT BEGINS IN TEN!!!! YOU BETTER BE HERE BY 2!!!!!!!"
screamed the woman through the phone. It was as though she could explode any minute, the little director who thinks she's miss encyclopedia of humanity. she yawned, before she shut her phone half way through the yapping, only to get up, and walk out of her room. Walking down the stairs in an oversized shirt and sweatpants, her bangs covering her face whilst she started the coffee machine to brew her coffee.
