Blood stains. A woman in black. His heart throbbed in pain at every pump, and his body held no energy to move, his limbs were torn, but he wasn't on the ground. He watched, with his vision barely stable, as she mustered the courage, and as though a stinging in his right ear, he heard her scream, before the light blinded his eyes, and away he was, completely lost within the warmth of it all.
That was, until, the scenario changed. He could feel his body walk through the walls of a strongly built chamber, but with an odd structure. It was too small for his grand manner of life, and the design of the house was too odd for his old fashioned sense. up went his foot, into the room where lay down a woman, with hair that shimmered in black that called upon the realm of shadows, and beauty that charmed whoever set their eyes upon her.
It was the first time he had ever seen such a woman. She was fast asleep, but her posture was too firm. she groaned in her sleep, but they were too soft. Her structure seemed so delicate, she seemed to be crafted out of glass. She reflected the contradicting light to her hair, and the colors her body wore were too vivid. as though he had been bestowed by the presence of an angel, the woman had completely entrapped the man within her charmed dazzle.
He stepped closer, examining the woman, who although had completely fallen for her structure, was still on his guard, until her eyes opened. It didn't last a second, when his eyes came in contact with hers, those crescent green eyes that contradicted and contrasted his blonde eyes, before he woke up from the stinging pain in the back of his head.
recalling it over, it was too strange. He had known every woman from the capital, but she was a face he had never seen before. Was she from the countryside? suzdal? pskov? Torzhok? He was fascinated by her, and in his silence, he ventured off to places in his head searching for that face desperately, as if he had known her for a long time, as if he had been waiting for her.
until his body stopped. His feet had stepped onto a texture of something soft, but looking down, there was nothing. Moving his foot forward, he stumbled and tripped instead, falling over something that felt like a body. There was nothing there, and before the guards could even surround him to help him up, the stinging pain hit him once more before the sight of that woman from his dreams came to him, laying on the floor, unconscious.
The horror it set on his face was something that surprised him more than the people around him, and it wasn't long before he had fallen on his knees, his pupils shivering. The sudden rise of pain that stemmed from his eyes, raging into every blood stream in his body was insufferable. The silence caught on the tip of his throat as he watched the woman unconscious in front of her, if even for a mere second, sent down thorns in his heart like roses twisting its vines around his lungs.
