Tyrone, the star athlete of his school, was worshiped by all the students. Some were jealous of him, jealous of his fame, athleticism, and determination, But Tyrone didn't always have this. Tyrone was born in a poor family, his father had left him at the age of 3, he only had his mother to take care of him. His mother was kind and willing to do anything for her son, though poor Tyrone lived a happy life, a life that he could smile. During his first year in middle school Tyrone started to grow taller than the average kid. The basketball coach of the school had noticed his sudden growth and had asked him to join the basketball team. Though Tyrone loved the sport he simply could not afford the fee. His mother already had to work two jobs to keep them going, there was no way he was going to put anymore burden on her by asking for money. So, Tyrone replied with, “Sorry I can’t join, I can’t afford the fee”. The coach had a smirk on his face, “If that’s all you’re worried about I got you covered! With your height and my guidance we might be able to win states!”. Tyrone agreed and joined the team. His first day in practice was a bust, he didn’t know how to do anything, but that wasn’t going to stop him, he was determined to get better and not let the coach down. Everyday he would go to school early and leave late just to get extra time to practice. And once he got home he would watch videos and read plays in order to get better. The season had finally started and Tyrone was playing his first game. He was nervous, but it soon went away as he was having fun, the other team was no match for them and they proceeded to win the game. After that game Tyrone started to get better and better, to the point of getting attention around the country. Before he knew it he became a star. Life was great for Tyrone he finally had a father figure in his coach, he was popular with a bright future ahead, he was happy. One more month until he graduates and joins the NBA. Tyrone was excited, he dreamt what would happen once he joined the NBA, he would buy his mom a new house get a car, Tyrone was excited. Then one morning Tyrone was walking back home, but something felt odd. Tyrones hater’s have had enough of him. They were filled with rage and envy, they couldn’t accept that Tyrone was getting all this success and they weren’t. They had decided to get together and take Tyrone out. They studied Tyrones routes and knew where exactly he was and at what time. They intercepted him and kidnapped Tyrone, they covered his face with a bag so he wouldn’t see them. Tyrone was in shock not knowing what was going on, he was scared of what was going to happen. They arrived at an abandoned building and seated Tyrone. They began to get a bat and started smashing Tyrone’s legs, without them his fame disappears. Once they were done beating him they left him there and went home. Tyrone and his legacy was no more, it had been destroyed.
