It was January already and with the rate of time recently it seemed as though the time would soon pass.
Harry daydreamed with his head propped up on his hand and with the sounds of French rumbling on from those around him.
Nothing but the circumlocutions of time passing raced through his mind. His thoughts babbled on but having a piece of paper passed along a row of hogwarts students certainly wasn't one of them.
"Oi...Harry. Mate" Ron whispered from beside him. Harry's mind snapped back to the classroom. He was greeted by a string of gazes all locking upon the note Ron was now nodding towards on the table.
"You alright mate?-"
His sentence was cut off with a very quick response of, "Yeah. Yeah mate."
With another nod from Ron, Harry took the queue and picked up the note all folded in an origami type manner.
Taking it between his thumbs he clutched onto it, not thinking twice about why it hadn't been opened by the other surrounding students whose eyes had repositioned towards the teacher.
"A love note, I bet" laughed Hermione. Ron scoffed.
The friends were facing eachother now and upon noticing so, their teacher stated," in your own time yeah?" With a little, "sorry" they continued listening, thinking nothing of the note.

Just as Harry feared, time had passed. Though this time it was just a few hours.
The trio were at the Weasley's House when Harry pulled the familiar note from the inside pocket of his jacket. He unfolded it and to his surprise it was perfectly in tact. He read.
Not realising Ron and Hermione were now leaning over the boy's shoulder, just as intruiged too as Harry was, he let a small smile creep onto his face, his cheeks turning crimson.
"Oh my! It really is a love note!" Hermione smiled.
"Blimey Harry, who's it from" Ron clearly not as invested as Hermione.
"Doesn't say" Harry himself, too, was surprised by the gesture.
