Chapter 1: New Beginnings
Souta Pierce stared at the rows of lockers that lined the school hallways. He had just transferred to this school, and the unfamiliar surroundings made him feel anxious. He was used to being in a smaller school where everyone knew each other, but this place was different. It was bigger, more intense, and overwhelming he walked along the hallway, trying to find his way to his first class. He saw groups of students huddled together, whispering and laughing. They all seemed to know each other, or at least have someone to talk to. Souta felt alone, Just as he was about to give up and ask for directions, he saw a boy walking towards him. He was tall, thin, and had short black hair. He was wearing a tight-fitting black shirt, ripped jeans, and boots that echoed against the floor "Hey there," the boy said, flashing a small smile. "You new here?" Souta nodded, feeling his heart racing. This boy was attractive, but he also gave off a strange vibe. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but the boy seemed to radiate danger "I'm Haku," the boy said, offering a hand for Souta to shake "I'm Souta," he replied, taking Haku’s hand "Nice to meet you, Souta. What class are you looking for?" "Umm, English," Souta said, feeling a bit embarrassed "That's my next class too," Haku said, grinning. "Come on, I'll show you the way." Souta followed Haku down the hallway, feeling a strange connection to him. His heart raced as Haku led the way, his boots thudding against the floor "So, where did you transfer from?" Haku asked, looking over his shoulder at Souta "A smaller school," Souta said, feeling a bit anxious talking to Haku. "It was in the city. I moved here with my family” "Hmm, that's cool," Haku said, his tone unreadable. "I've been here my whole life. It's not too bad, but it can get a bit boring sometimes."Souta noticed how Haku’s eyes seemed to sparkle in the light, almost as if they were made of glass. It was strange, but he couldn't stop staring at them, They reached the English classroom, and Haku held the door open for Souta. The teacher was already there, and a few other students were sitting at their desks, chatting as they took their seats, Haku leaned over and whispered in Souta’s ear, "We'll talk more at lunch, okay?"Souta nodded, feeling heat rush to his cheeks. He couldn't believe how flustered he was around Haku as the class started, Souta tried to focus on the lesson. But his thoughts kept drifting back to Haku. There was something about him that was both alluring and unsettling. He couldn't explain it, but he knew he wanted to get closer to him.
